In my bio is all my IVF trip. Last week, we did our 5th transfer. It’s been 7dp5dt (euploid... we did a GPT test), and I'm having menstrual symptoms (cramps and nausea) and a bit of blood when I'm going to the toilet. Theoretically, between today, 03.11, and Sunday, 05.11, my period is coming, so... I didn't know what to do, and yesterday we did a pregnancy test. No lines. Today, I had a bit more blood... and we did another test—a faint line.
Last year, I had a chemical pregnancy, and I'm not super happy because right now, I'm with progesterone, prednisone, and Clexane.
I don't know if my period is coming in the following days. I don't know if that faint line is just because of my meds...
Beta is one week from now. Cross fingers for me 🤞

congratulations! Great that you have a positive test that’s got stronger. Bleeding at this stage could be implantation bleeding or could be a hematoma. Also if you’re on blood thinners that makes all the bleeding seem worse than it is.
I had all this early on and it was very scary but 22 weeks now and everything so far is fine 🙏🏼🤞🏼
Try and take each day as it comes and trust the process. Tell your clinic about the bleeding and they may increase your progesterone anyway.
Thanks Wishinandahopin! That's the worse week because my period, according to my app, is 1 day delayed, so I'm not even optimistically caution... is just I feel a little apathetic that's all
Periods don’t come at the correct time with IVF it’s not like a normal cycle and the progesterone will hold it off. Pregnancy symptoms, progesterone symptoms and period symptoms are all the same. If the bleeding gets heavier than spotting then I would def get some more progesterone.
Bleeding happens early on in 50% of ivf pregnancies- that helped reassure me when I had mine.
I know it’s so scary but I’m keeping hope for you xx
Don't know why my comment was deleted... anyway, thanks for the info! Didn't know there is early bleeding in 50% IVF. My clinic said it is quite normal... but after some failed IVF, I don't even want to be optimistically cautious
I completely get that - I had two failed transfers of tested embryos before my successful one and lots of tests and everything in between - it’s so hard. Just take each day as it comes as much as possible xxx
I had the exact same situation with my little boy it was very scary seeing the blood (and ours lasted weeks) but the line is getting darker and looks good for that stage so defo lots of hip their too 🤗 w your clinic about the bleeding and hopefully they can get you in for bloods to check what’s happening with your HCG? Xx
Thanks for your comment, Twiglet2! According to my clinic, these symptoms are typical, but I have to check them regularly because, as I suspect, it can also be the period. My transfer was with a frozen embryo, and just today, I did a test, and for me and my husband, the line is not getting darker :/ As I said, thats the worse week before the beta.
It’s 48hours for getting darker so 8days compared to 6 days it is darker. Bit like you say this week is defo hard when all you can do is wait! I find pink dye ones easier to tell with though and boots do an early detection one quite cheap. Good luck xx
Many clinics recommend to test not earlier than 10dp5dt, so having a faint line at 6dp, and a stronger one the day after, is a good sign! And no, none of the medicines you mention can make a line on a pregnancy test 😁All good signs here, fingers crossed for the future!
Hi Oxford I hope you’re well and keeping strong xx the line seems stronger for day 7, hopefully today/ tomorrow you’ll see a clear difference and it would have gotten stronger. The reality is that is still to early , I just read this morning that around day 8 is when the levels start being high enough to be detected. Fingers crossed it will continue to progress in the right direction , it looks promising to me xx , the cramps could also be a positive sign or just the medicines , honestly this is a minefield 😂 sending you loads of good luck your way , I hope this is your lucky time xx
Thanks, @Hopewhite 😘 I have the same feeling: lines seem stronger for day 7 instead of today :/ Next Friday is my beta, so cross your fingers for me🤞 🥲
