potential OC?
Hello. I just wanted to see if anyone had any advice or has experienced anything similar. In October I had surgery to remove 2 large cysts in both of my ovaries and endometriosis/ adhesions in my pelvis. The dr then wanted to put me on the contraceptive pill to stop the pain I was getting with my period

Light periods and FET success?
Morning all, hope your Mondays are treating you well. Has anyone suffered with light periods (1-2 day max) yet seen success with fresh or frozen transfers? I’ve started on meds for my first frozen transfer (after a failed fresh transfer in Nov). My periods have always been light after coming off the

Pain Relief/Transemic acid
Hi I have deep bowel and rectal bleeding on my periods and severe pain. I take the pill back to back so usually only have a period every four months and the symptoms return. However I have had a period early Jan and then one for the last two weeks which isn’t stopping. Paracetamol doesn’t help

Advice - cysts and TTC
Just posting to see if anyone has been in the same position or can offer any advice! I had surgery last June where they found stage 4 endo. I had 2 large chocolate cysts one on my left around 8cm and the one on my right 10cm. The surgery wasn’t done in a endo centre which now I realise probably should

After birth fertility
Hi, ive just recently had a baby and the midwives have said that you are most fertile after giving birth and to think about contraception. Does anyone know if the ‘most fertile’ window is the same for someone who has PCOS? Thank you

Help with current BP problems
I have had above average BP readings since in my 20s when on the pill. I have always been overweight for my height , and have now been told I have CKD3 . I have been given potassium pills for the BP which have little effect only to raise my pain problems. This does not make sense to me as foods with

Overwhelmed and scared!
hello, I’m 43 years old and have suffered since the age of 12 with heavy periods, back pain, hip pain, and in excruciating pain when on my period. I’ve lost count of the no of times I’ve been at the GP. I was put on the pill at 13 to help, then the coil, mefenemic acid, tranexamic acid the lot. In

Worth seeing NHS gynaecologist after private surgery?
Hello, I still feel quite new to understanding endo and been fortunate to have had a short journey so far although I don’t know what to expect for the future. Confused and sad
Hey everyone, Needed to reach out to you lovely people as feeling so sad, disappointed and confused. Totally got my hopes up this week as my period is over a week late - managed to convince myself that miracles had happened. But no, took a test this morning and it's a big fat negative. Wondered if

what’s the next step?
hi everyone. So I only managed zoladex for 4 months. To put it lightly they affected my mental wellbeing so much I hated myself on them. As well the severe joint pains and hair issues. I’m seeing my endo nurse tomorrow for a follow up. And I don’t really know what the next step is for me. I had my first

Right shoulder pain made worse by mirena
I wondered if anyone else had experienced referred right shoulder pain as a result of endometriosis? They think it is growing on my diaphragm as the pain comes and goes with my cycle. I went back on the pop to control it but the Dr suggested mirena coil instead. The lower dose of hormone is not controlling

I was put on numerous

LT4 and oral contraceptives
I think I am going through perimenopause because of irregular period, dry, irritated eyes and sleepless nights. Symptoms are worse when ovulating and at beginning and end of period. I am on levothyroxine because half of my thyroid has been removed. So symptoms can also be related to or enhanced

Hello, I'm due to finally have surgery to remove endometriosis in 2 weeks' time after 12 years of trying to get doctors to take my pain seriously. I've had an MRI previously which showed endo behind my womb and on my uteral sacral ligaments, but I also have bowel and bladder symptoms. I met with my
