Treatment for endometriosis if estrogen is not an option?
My daughter has been newly diagnosed with endometriosis. She is not keen on having the Mirena coil (initial recommendation) so the the doctor wanted to put her on the pill to stop progression but it transpired she cannot take it because of migraines and the associated risk. Now the doctor is saying

I started taking the combined pill (Rigevidon) 1st week November and I’m now on 2nd pack (back to back due to upcoming scans for PCOS) - about 5 pills in to 2nd pack - and I’ve started bleeding. I’m now on my 2nd day of bleeding with stomach pains. It’s not a normal period type of bleeding though, it

When do you start the pill again
I’m still confused and this may sound stupid but say I take my last pill of the pack on a Monday for my 7 day break does that mean I restart the next pack on the following Monday or the Sunday?

Anyone with endo and PCOS?
Hello, I have suspected endo. Recently I came off the pill after 14 years because I wanted to get my body ready for hopefully having a baby in a year or so, so wanted to learn about my natural cycle. I came off briefly a couple of years ago which is when I was diagnosed with pcos. I then went back on

Can someone tell me what endo pain feels like?
I’ve always had painful periods, pain down my legs and lower back, as well as what I can only describe as hot poker butt pains. I start taking painkillers a few days before my period is due and sometimes manage to function for those first few days but mostly am bed bound. It was better when I was on

Hormonal Treatment with high blood pressure
I am currently waiting on a gynaecology appointment after going to my doctor with chronic pelvic pain and explaining that I used to have extremely painful and irregular periods when I was a teenager. I have been on hormonal contraception for 4 years to treat the pain and irregularity of my period but

Breast pain on the pill?
Hi everyone, I’m new here. I’ve been on the contraceptive pill for over a year and take it on time every day and never missed a pill. I’m recently been experiencing really sore breasts for the last couple of weeks (not due for my pill break and bleed for a few more days.) I’m worrying about the pain,

Combined pill
Hi, when you bleed during your break on the pill does that mean you’re not pregnant and if you don’t bleed you could be?

Thinking about stopping hormone therapy but concerned doctors will react badly.
Hi everyone. I’m 21 and have had chronic pelvic pain since I started my periods a week after my 10th birthday. Prior to that I have always have recurrent UTI’s. After years of waiting, numerous referrals and told it was normal I was finally told I most likely have endometriosis about 4 years ago but

Possible endo?
Hello, I was wondering if I could get some advice relating to what I suspect is endometriosis. I came off the pill about 7 months ago (partly to try to get pregnant) and only recently seem to be settling down. My last period was 5 days and had the worst cramps for the first 48 hours, diarrhoea and around

Can I take a break from my progesterone only pill (cerazette)?
I’ve been taking the pop pill for around a year and I’m not sure if I want to continue taking it. I want to see how I will react coming off the pill and if my moods will improve etc... if I decide to take a break, can I go back on the pill after a few weeks if I decide I want to?

3rd time bleeding in 1 month
This is my 3rd time bleeding this month... The 9th-13th was an actual period but the others were light, I’m not really sure if it was spotting though. Why is this happening? It has never happened before. I’ve been on the same birth control for 4+ years.
