Random bleeding - combined pill

I started taking the combined pill (Rigevidon) 1st week November and I’m now on 2nd pack (back to back due to upcoming scans for PCOS) - about 5 pills in to 2nd pack - and I’ve started bleeding. I’m now on my 2nd day of bleeding with stomach pains.

It’s not a normal period type of bleeding though, it’s more like when you lose your mucus plug when you’re at the end of your pregnancy...

I read that you may get breakthrough bleeding in the first few months of taking the pill. Is the type of bleeding I am experiencing normal?
