Please try not to worry (easier said than done). There are many reasons your body can do this. It may be just a blip and go away. If you’ve had an illness / sickness / diarrhoea, these can all affect your absorption of medication. It may be that your birth control no longer suits your body and needs to change. You might be having hormone fluctuations, you may be low in iron / b12.... so many possibilities. Your gp will be able to give you a far more precise answer following taking details and possibly doing tests. There was a time when I had on average only 5 days a month not bleeding. Mine was complex and took awhile to work out (severe b12 deficiency, body went into false menopause, and later found out an inability to convert b6 to useable form). Simple answers once figured out: b12 injections, folic acid tablets, p5p tablets (b6 useable form), iron tablets (no longer needed).
I suspect yours will be something simple, and worrying while you wait to see your doc will only contribute to your symptoms. Keep positive if you can, all the best 😊
How did you get on with the doctor? I had spotting between periods, negative pregnancy test, went for an examination at the doctors, was told I have something on my cervix so have been referred to gynaecologist as I’ve had endless lady issues for the last few years. Also recently been diagnosed with pcos.
