Constipation

Ropinirole Reduction
I don’t think I can increase the iron supplement as I already suffer with
constipation
. I’m also thinking of going onto HRT but am concerned this may exacerbate the whole thing, so am in a bit of a dilemma. I would be so grateful for some ideas on what to do.

Constipation while stopped drinking alcohol
Where in earlier years of my drinking addiction there was a lot of diahrrea after drinking, later on it became
constipation
. I really don't enjoy having diahrrea, but
constipation
for me, is much, much worse.

I really would appreciate help on which to take and the amount, I have a problem with the bowel which causes chronic
constipation
and take medication to help move things along the bowel so would not be able to take anything that would aggravate this condition. Thanking you in advance.

Blood results and Hashimoto's
I have all the symptoms: coldness, fatigue,
constipation
, brain fog, hair loss etc. I have also put on a lot of weight despite watching what I eat, exercising daily and having gluten free bread. I have had a scan and have several thyroid nodules and have been recommended to have a biposy.

My Crib on how I got to optimal dose of Levo - Not Gospel - just example take what you will from it.
Gluten-free helps with
constipation
(as does being adequately medicated). Apple crumble, even the gluten-free version is the perfect storm for heartburn. This lead me to understand sugar, carbs and fat (which any crumble is) combined pretty much guarantee heartburn.

New to forum 🌸 Mums Recent Primary Peritoneal diagnosis. Is pain before Chemo normal?
She’s gone through moments of
constipation
then diarrhoea, has had fluid drained from her a few times, a slight infection , and is now just in a lot of pain. She’s had lots of antibiotics, morphine and has to get strong in order to have her first chemo consultation.

Chronic constipation/Movicol
My four year old daughter had chronic
constipation
last year and from July 2021 she has been on Movicol everyday with Senna now and then. The problem is we can’t seem to get the dosage right for the Movicol! If she has one sachet a day she bungs up, two a day and she’s too loose!

Multinodular goitre
Having researched online and found that symptoms of palpitations, mood swings,
constipation
, cold feet and hands, pounding heart beats, and dry coarse hair for the past (at least 5 or 6 yrs, if not more) might be due to my thyroid.

Pain urination causes pain
I’m thinking this could be die to
constipation
as well maybe something is pressing in bladder making me need the toilet more frequently. Also been having sharp pains in vagina but hole as well it’s not a UTI as I just finished a course of antibiotics for a chest infection.

Is it IBS?
I've also had bloating, stomach pains,
constipation
and diarrhoea. I tried a food diary but nothing seems an obvious trigger but for the last month or so my symptoms have almost disappeared for seemingly no reason. I can't help but wonder whether this is IBS or if there's something else going on?

Gabapebtin
The worst are excessive tiredness and bouts of
constipation
.. When I had a telephone consultation with my cardiologist he felt everything was due to Gabapebtin. Do others have the same issues?

Blood test results opinion please!
No
constipation
. I could just have a bug of course (and am conscious I am 49 so likely also perimenopausal) but wondered if my T4 needs to increase a little? Would welcome views. NB I took T3 24 and 12 hours (split dose) before the test, and T4 24 hrs before.
