Have you been misdiagnosed? I might have been.
I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s approximately four years ago by two different neurologists. I noticed the first symptoms two years before that. So I am into my sixth year with Parkinson’s. I have managed to treat my symptoms through natural solutions, including: - An intense focus on finding a diet

Covid Recovery - Exhausted
Hi, I tested positive for Covid on July 15. Symptoms were mild at first, felt more like allergies. On July 15 I lost my sense of taste and smell, then the tightest in my chest and exhaustion hit. I took Paxlovid and have had a round of antibiotics and steroids to get rid of this virus, but it’s

about three weeks ago I started to feel the familiar aches associated with pmr. Prior to this I had dropped from 3.5 to 3. I contacted my rheumatologist department and had a blood test which showed cpr <5 cor but I had symptoms. I’ve arranged a further blood test next week and was advised to stay with

Cramping at 10 weeks
Hi everyone I’m currently 10+3 after a successful ICSI cycle. I am getting a bit worried about cramps that have started today and have continued all day. Colds/flu/viruses and Thyroxine
Just wondering is there any link to having Hashimotos and not having any colds/flu/viruses. The reason I ask is that I never got sick, with the usual colds etc for many years. I just started thyroxine a few months ago. Now I have a really horrible virus, coughing, temperature, flu like symptoms. This

Ibrance and Anastrozole for Endometrial Cancer - Is anybody else on this regimen?
Hello, I live in the U.S. I am on Ibrance and Anastrozole for ER+ PR+ HER2- endometrial cancer for over 5 ½ years. I was originally diagnosed in 2015 and had two recurrences. Now I am in remission. In the U.S., I am not meeting people (on online forums or in real life) that are on the same regimen

Pred and colds, and pmr burn-out
Hi All.Probably both silly questions, but firstly, do other people with PMR keep getting colds? One after the other? I am tapering down from 10 mg. Secondly, I've read that PMR often burns out after 2 years. So does this mean that if I taper down to 0 or 1mg across 2 years, the PMR will have gone as

Covid-19 Vaccination?
This may provoke a tirade from people who feel very strongly one way or another, but I felt it was worth flagging up - please try to be polite! There has been previous discussion on here about whether to go for further booster vaccinations against Covid-19 now it is no longer ‘NEWS’ . Currently [i]most

Be Careful
Morning everyone, hope you are all well. I have pernicious anaemia and through the years have managed with self injections, resting, eating as well as I could (within reason), watching my weight and exercising as well as I can. In general I thought I was doing not too badly at all. Albeit tingling,

Shingles vaccine?
I unknowingly (until after) had shingles in March 2023 which I believe, triggered first episode of Afib. Now thinking about having the vaccine, concerned that it will trigger Afib. What are people's experiences of having the vaccine? Do I need it yet. Maybe still have antibodies in my system? Will

Third run after Covid: run cut short but that’s ok
I did my third run this morning, after getting back on the wagon after a break due to Covid. My hubby still seems to test positive, I negative since a week now, but I can tell my little workouts (runs and rows) do take it out of me. The little 20 minute hill runs and 15 minutes rows all feel great
