Need help in understanding PSA level recurrence after treatment.
In May 2023 I completed what the doctor hope would be a curative treatment of 38 sessions of radiotherapy accompanied by 2.25 years on Lupron + Zytiga. During that treatment, my PSA fell to < 0.01 and remained there until the end of the treatment. I had a blood test taken last Friday and it shows that

Update re: My cancer and subsequent tinnitus.
This is a follow up from the success story I posted here last month. I wasn’t quite sure whether to post this update of sorts, even if it isn’t entirely a positive one, it isn’t to do with my tinnitus and this seemed like the best place for it. I am still “habituated” (whatever that means) to my new

K2 supplement
Having read on this forum that calcium/D3 is best supplemented with K2 to aid absorption, I've been taking it with my (prescribed) iCal D3 chewable tablets for some years. I had breast cancer in 2016 and was prescribed Letrozole, and as I had radiotherapy too, advised to take iCal and Alendronic Acid

NODULAR SCEROSING HODGKIN LYMPHOMA
My name is jacqueline 39years old. Was diagnosed with hoghking lymphoma in 2020. Treated with chemo and radiotherapy and got healed. The disease has come back again and the affected nodes are located in infraclacular nodes. What am I supposed to do?

Are you interested in helping with some research measuring the impact of radiotherapy?
What is the study about?
We want to understand how to best capture the health effects of being treated with radiotherapy. This will help us to understand whether we can use an existing health measurement tool (called ‘EQ5D’) in clinical practice. This survey is part of a larger study called

Aorto-caval lymph nodes
Has anyone had radiation treatment to the aorto-caval lymph nodes? I have mildly avid nodes there that are not responding to Lupron. My RO wants to treat the entire area, not just spot treat with Cyberknife. He seems confident he can safely treat the area.

hemochromatosis?
Can pelvic radiation therapy cause hemochromatosis? I went through 44 days of EBRT and six months later diagnosed with hemochromatosis which I've never had in my 73 years.

When the drugs don’t work
Where to begin… my poor Mum had her first hip replacement in 2007, but it broke and she had a revision in 2008. Unfortunately she was in more pain than ever, and they were about to write the pain off as psychological but thankfully she got referred to an Orthopaedic Specialist hospital who discovered

My husband is on Radiation treatment 31 of 45. Diagnosed with Gleason 7 (4+3), PSA 4.9 with all indications that it is contained in the prostate, negative bone scan, etc;. TURP and Prostatectomy
I am looking at a prostatectomy, but I had a TURP 8 yrs ago. How does this change the risk factors and my potential quality of life for a prostatectomy? If I did radiation therapy, they would like me to have another TURP to remove some of the prostate that is growing into the bladder before starting

Post Radiotherapy Fatigue
Hello. I had a total hysterectomy with BSO late December followed by 25 days of external beam radiotherapy in March / April. I’m really struggling with fatigue/ low energy levels. Is this normal? I had hoped for sone improvement four and a half months post treatment. I’ve had repeat blood tests to rule

Why no maintenance medication?
I was diagnosed with stage 3C1, grade 3 endometrial cancer October 2022 and had surgery, chemo and 25 sessions external radiotherapy. I haven't been put on maintenance medication to prevent recurrence. Is this usual? Are others in this position? I live in the Uk.

Brain fog, weakness meds or tumour?
New to this thank you. I am looking for information. I have a newly diagnosed grade 4 gliobastoma which has been recently debulked. I am currently awaiting radiotherapy. I take steroids in the morning and Keppra at night and experience a constant brain fog and weakness to limbs which I am unsure as to
