Post concussion syndrome and increasing fatigue
10 weeks on from banging my head in a fall things did seem to be improving a little , the dizziness and headaches less of a problem etc. But for the last two days I've been feeling completely exhausted most of the time, it's happened quite suddenly. Is this usual? Maybe I'm just catching up after

Newbie here from the USA
I've suffered a
concussion
in February 2018 and would like advice on returning to work with post
concussion
syndrome. I have not been back to work yet, and they are holding my job for me. Photosensitivity and headaches are the things that are mostly holding me back from returning to work.

Cognitive Rehabilitation for smart people :)
Fast forward, more than 20 years - I have had several bleeds in my brain, second brain surgery and a
concussion
. I finally received cognitive testing which showed an original very high IQ. Now test normal, but you and I know how much has been lost despite our outward appearance.

Post concussion symptoms coming and going
This week I had a couple of days of not sleeping very well stressed and generally feeling run down and since yesterday I have the
concussion
symptoms back again. Is this normal for the symptoms to come and go and how long can it last? Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Post concussion syndrome -new sufferer
Hi, I'm new here. I have this following a fall 6 weeks ago. I'm finding it very hard to cope with. I'm having problems with headaches, dizziness (both very bad today, making me feel queasy),, tiredness, mood swings, generally feeling rough, and particularly with anxiety/stress - this was bad before

New to group Norotryptyline Questions...
My neuro suggested I go to a
concussion
specialist who put me on Norotryptiline-this is in addition to Propanalol. After about 3 weeks on the Noro my balance improved and stuttering stopped. BUT when I wake up my back is so very sore as are my knees- I feel like a little old lady!

Headache less when under water
My headaches are daily and vary in style and intensity as a result of
concussion
. Post accident for 2 years, so thought any damaged would have been repaired.

Sleeping for only a few hours at time.
I had
concussion
in my thirties & was clinically depressed for 10years until a few years ago but I still take 40mg of Fluoxetine a day. I gave up smoking 2 years ago but still have a couple of Gin & tonics in the evenings. If anybody has a similar experience I appreciate hearing from you.

New here!
Concussion
aside, a diverse range of symptoms saw me referred to ENT, Neurosurgery, Neurology and Neuropsychology. It was the Neurologist who suggested an ANA blood test due to my history. Bingo! Positive ANA saw me referred to Rheumatology and a diagnosis.

Post concussion syndrome new sufferer part 2 - low blood sugar type symptoms and shaking
I'm not sure how this works so writing a new post to ask a specific question. As I said in my previous post I have various symptoms following a fall 6 weeks ago. One I didn't mention and which is really bothering me is that I'm getting symptoms which are like a diabetic person having a 'hypo' or low

Holmes is diagnosed with post
concussion
syndrome. I’m watching with interest as I have it too. It would be great if Headway could recruit Jonny Lee Miller as an ambassador for PCS!

Maybe I deserve all this...?
I’ve dealt with arrhythmias and syncope spells, even driving off the road once when I passed out behind the wheel (mild
concussion
, but I’m fine). I can not afford the surgery for a pacemaker, which is going to be essential in the long run. I can’t get insurance until November.

Neck muscles causing Pusatile or Somatic Tinnitus
My head noises began after a
concussion
8 months ago. MRI and CT showed nothing. I have had two frustrating trips to an ENT consultant who has at last said that what I am hearing could be related to neck muscles and physio can help. So she says I need to see a psychologist (!!!).
