I am 18 mos post MVA/ concussion and just started back to work FT. I struggle with ANS disfunction, vestibular and ochlear disorders, tremors in my right hand, sleep disturbances, short term memory loss, balance issues and anxiety. Any recommendations for help would be appreciated

Does your employer help with adjustments in the workplace for your disabilities?

hi, i agree with still daves point aboint meditation, it relaxes you and takes away the need for anti depressants.

Therapy and mindfulness can help with anxiety, as well as anti-anxiety meds from your g.p. if necessary.

It’s a big part of it dealing with the mental side of things after a brain injury, especially when symptoms persist.

Yes I'm on SSRIs and it has taken the edge off, I'm finding now that I have no affect tho. No more anger but no belly laughs either

Hi there. I just started on Nortrypaline which has really helped with dizziness and speech. I am still not back to work- in part because I too have memory issues and need my brain to do my job. I have been also going to speech OT and PT all of which have helped soooooo much! Good luck and I too am here with an ear to vent.
