He has been on
concerta
for a while now and his behavior and social skills are not getting any better, they actually seem worse. Needless to say, we are worried sick and both frustrated! Someone recommended that I️ join a support group so as to not feel alone. So here I️ am!

Lying or not?
She has ADHD and an anxiety diagnosis and takes
Concerta
in the morning with a booster in the evening to help with homework. She has always tested as very high on the IQ and conceptual ability tests but very slow on processing speed and very poor on executive function/organization.

Concerta authorized generic nightmare
CVS not carrying the Actavis authorized generic to
Concerta
anymore as cardinal took it off of formulary. CVS Caremark is my insurance. Not to keen on paying $150 coinsurance per script. Other "generics: are not good for me. Suggestions?

Inattentive ADHD
We tried Ritalin, but he didn't like the way he felt and then
Concerta
, which he had a terrible reaction to that resulted in a trip to the ER. There are things stressing him out besides school. Counseling hasn't been a good fit yet. The school hasn't found a tutor.

ADHD meds making it difficult for my daughter to play sports
After being diagnosed the Dr has put her on
concerta
56 mg. It is like night and day and she feels so much better. Unfortunately, she plays sports and her heart rate increases substantially during her practices making her stop and slow down.

I'm a newbie!
Anyway, my daughter is 10 years old and has been on
Concerta
for a few years now. My biggest issue is her ODD (Oppositional Defiant Disorder). She was diagnosed with that just last year and the doctor said most every kid with ADHD has ODD. Makes sense being that my daughter can be VERY defiant.

Anyone with ME taken ADHD Meds?
The Adult ADHD Consultant has put me on Matoride XL (same as
Concerta
XL, etc: it’s a slow-release Ritalin), and I seem to be able to still have my daytime sleeps on it - which is a relief although the sleeps are not as restful as previously.

What should I do?
I started on the low dose (18mg) of
Concerta
, but recently they upped my dose to 36mg. Now when I take them I feel ill. I'm dizzy and feel like vomiting. My doctor told me that the meds were supposed to help me sleep but it's been doing the opposite. I am often up till 1 or 2 in the morning.

Should we change schools
He is on the lowest dose of
Concerta
, unfortunately the school knows this and I found out they have been asking him if he's taken his medication. I told them to never, ever, under any circumstances ask him that question again.

New here - Grandson has ADHD
He takes the generic form of
Concerta
XR, which is the 2nd one we have tried. He was originally on Vyvanse, which he took for about 1-1/2 years, starting when he was 5. He was in Pre-K that year, and his teachers said it helped him tremendously.

Please help-ADHD medication
I've heard positive info on Focalin and awful info on
Concerta
(to include that the trials were tested on majority 13-18 year olds, yet it's administered to 6 year okds). Does anyone have any suggestions? Also, has anyone had success on a non-stimulant? Thanks! Kristy
