ADHD update
My methylphenidate aka
Concerta
. That’s the brand I take. It’s working, though the side effect of suppressed appetite is apparent. I’m at a healthy weight and the doctor and I agreed to watch it. My anxieties are still there and I can get wrapped up in my head, but I’m better at handling it.

New Diagnosis
I have tried Adderall, Ritalin, Vyvanse and
Concerta
to no avail. They did help manage my ADHD pretty well but I just couldn't stand the neck discomfort. I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this and if theres something else that worked for you.

6th grade adhd help!
I am considering putting him on meds again, but we have been through adderal and
concerta
and they don’t seem like a good fit. Has anyone out there have a good experience with meds or know of a good doctor in the Atlanta area that could help me. Thanks

Looking for ADHD coach for my 20 year old son
He can’t take
concerta
because he’s allergic. He functioned on meds until his junior year in high school and then he started self-medicating with pot. He was sooo skinny no appetite. Very difficult time. With help from all involved he was able to graduate.

Cannot take antioxidants during radiotherapy
In January of this year, I went back on Lupron but I found ways to fight the fatigue and brain fog with a combination of medication (
Concerta
which is similar to Ritalin), actions (Wim Hoff breathing techniques, cold showers, exercise) and supplements (Gingko Biloba, Maca, Super-Energex which is basically

Refusing to take ADHD medicine
His psychiatrist wants to prescribe
Concerta
but my son is unwilling. He is irritable, defiant and stubborn. I’m frustrated and resorting to using “carrots and sticks” around what he most wants. Any parents experiencing this ?Any suggestions? Thanks

Diagnosed and starting Meds at 26 - What should I look for?
I was prescribed
Concerta
and have been taking a low dose for 4 days now. The biggest thing I am hoping the medication will help me with is emotional dysregulation and feelings of anxiety/depression. Have meds helped anyone else in this domain?

Back to Square 1
First
concerta
but then made the switch to biphentin. However he did not gain any weight in a year and was losing more weight towards the end of the year on being on stimulants. So 1 year later, we are back to square 1.

Could This Really Be Undiagnosed Adult ADHD?
She had me go on a trial for medication
Concerta
(which I think may have been new to the market at the time) at a young age (obviously there was enough reasoning behind putting me on that in the first place).

Anyone realize undiagnosed ADHD may have been the problem your entire life? Were you conditioned to not even question anything was "wrong"?

Skin problems while on Med?
I've been taking
Concerta
for about a few months. I've been noticing my skin becoming extremely itchy especially at night, and my face is beginning to get bumpy and red. I had acne before but it was never like this. I'm also in my 30's so, I'm not sure if it's a sign that I'm aging.

Diagnosed at 40. Advice needed please :(
I took my 27MG of
Concerta
instead. I want to see if that will help, without causing anxiety. My doctor said I should not be switching back and forth (otherwise we will not know which one is working.) Please help! Sara

Can you have withdrawl ?
Trying low doses of
concerta
, and most recently adderall. Adderall is making me too anxious, so I stopped yesterday. Yesterday, I felt like crap. I slept most of the day away. Keep in mind, I was up late for New Year's Eve the night before.

PSA rising, won't be able to escape ADT. Any tips for brain-fog and depression handling?
So to compensate against this, I hope that a cocktail of Effexor, Coffee (I did not drink any back when I was on Lupron) and
Concerta
(long-lasting Ritalin-like) will allow the brain-fog to dissipate because I won't be able to keep my job if I am to be brain-dead for the next two years in case we go

ADHD Medication
A month ago my 17 yo son started on
Concerta
XL with low dosage and now at 54mg. He is diagnosed with ADHD inattentive type. I have not yet seen much improvement in his school work, very inconsistent grades (from As to Fs in few weeks).

Concerta and adhd medications
I am using
concerta
for 3 days. And it almost did nothing. Don't feel any difference. İs it normal ? Using 18mg a day. I would be happy to hear others experiences with it (
concerta
). Also love to hear from the ones that tried more than one medications about which one has a better effect.

Strange question: Does Concerta make you burp a lot?
I'm taking
Concerta
and I realize that when I take it I burp more than when I wasn't taking it. Has anyone experience this, or am I being weird?
