Coming off SSRIs and people's experience of Xaggitin XL
I am on 36mg of Xaggitin XL. I don't take it until lunch time because it wears off after about 8 hours and that's no use to me in the afternoon/early evening. I use coffee to get me through the morning. I have a med review tomorrow so hopefully I can get some advice/answers regarding what's best going

Anyone suffered from changes to anxiety levels on Xenidate XL (concerta)?
I’ve been going through tritation and found that 3x 18mg of xenidate XL tablets seemed to mange my symptoms without being too much. I’ve recently found that after trying a higher dose and dropping back down that I’m feeling more anxious with a higher blood pressure reading. I’ve been feeling more

His bedtime is at 8 but will toss and turn and not pass out til after midnight if we are lucky. Somehow he wakes up around 6ish will tons of energy. We do see an endocrinologist that has him on

Finally starting medication--what now?
Skip a couple paragraphs if you dont need background info, lol. After years of people writing off adhd as a possibility and a bad last psychiatrist, I had my first appointment with a new one and it went as well as possible. Now she prescribed me focalin (dexmethylphenidate). My last year of highschool

I got the starting dose, 18 mg . Not possible to dilute them, so should I take one more everyday already? I don't want to become crazy with anxiety. It doesn't exactly does nothing, it made me lose my car twice in parking lots and search for adresses on the wrong side of the street. It also makes

Thyroid Panel Results - seem OK?
Hi folks, I finally got a private thyroid panel done. At this stage I was convinced it would scream hypo - but the results are all 'normal'. Quick recap of symptoms: - Weight gain - Brain Fog and Low Motivation (being treated for ADHD) - Menorrhagia - Anemia (B12 and iron) and low vitamin levels

Medication for impulse and regulating emotions
Hi I recently posted about starting my son back up on meds. We had my son revaluated and his pediatrician put him on Concerta even though we tried it years ago and said focalin seemed to work best for him. Not surprised but the Concerta did not work and just made him more sensitive than anything.

Heart rate too high
I had a second ablation two weeks ago as I reverted to AF after 18 months from the first ablation. Everything was going well until a few days ago when my heart rate shot up to 113bpm. Phoned hospital who told me to take Adizem XL 240mg every day and sent a prescription to my pharmacy. Heart rate now

Just started meds- need something to help with remembering, moving faster, and completing tasks
My daughter is 12 and has ADHD Inattentive Type. We started meds recently after she came to me saying she felt her brain wasn’t working 🥺. She’s very well behaved and bright and fun, but very slow with transitions, distracted, and extremely forgetful. She loses things, leaves a trail of messes, and

Concerta, Menopause and ADHD. Good times!
I turned 50 a few days ago and have been taking Concerta 54 mg once a day. I don’t think this drug is doing much. My symptoms seem worse than they were. The only thing I can think of is I may be entering menopause. Has anyone experienced this? Is there a better medication out there? Thanks.

College age son wants to try meds again...any experienced people with elite distance runners and medication. He's a Division 1 athlete.
My son did well on Concerta when he was 11-12 but we had to take him off due to side effects. Other stimulants were tried with catastrophic side effects during high school and as a result, he became terrified of taking any medication. Fast forward, now in college and really struggling...He's having

One month on Vyvanse - oh boy...
My journey with Vyvanse seems to be an odd one, so I thought I'd post this in case anyone else had similar experiences. If that's the case, please share your thoughts - I'd really appreciate it! I was recently diagnosed, at age 32, with ADHD the inattentive type. I live in the UK and my doctor's first

12th Trip to Resus with different outcome
Hi. I am new to this forum. I hope I can find some info about my ongoing heart problems experience. 5 years ago I had my 1st trip to Resus with a heart rate of 200bpm. I was given a bid single dose of amiodarone and HR dropped to normal fairly quickly. I then stayed in the cardiac unit for 4 days

Foggy/ dazed on Cencerta 36
I restarted my concerta after being off it for about 10 years. First was with 18 it was ok, then 27 same ok now 36. Does anyone else get the foggy feeling and my sleep has changed as I stay up later and wake up later. I’m thinking of going back on 27. What do you all think?

Any insights on Guanfacine ?
My 15 years old sun has been taking Concerta 18mg for a year but was told from another doctor that Guanfacine could be a good replacement since Concerta has been causing him aggression and mood swings lately. I'd love to hear any advice or insights on taking guanfacine. Thank you so much !

Newly diagnosed and lost
Hi there, I will be 50 at the end of the month and was diagnosed 2 months ago. I am on a leave at work because I can’t focus. I am not sure what to do now. I am currently on Concerta and have had bad side effects. I wanted to be evaluated because after reading about it, I realized that this was me.

Neucon 36mg
I’ve been taking Neucon 36mg which is the equivalent of Concerta 36mg for the last 3 years. I take the drug for work productivity to improve concentration, control impulses and increase my confidence in the workplace. I’ve had great success in my work using the stimulant.I recently started taking it over
