Can ADHD Medication Stop Working?
My son is 6, and was diagnosed at 5 with ADHD and Anxiety via a neuropsych evaluation. We did multiple iterations of medication trial and error, and landed with Concerta (first 18mg, then 27mg, now 36mg), Celexa (20mg), and Hydroxyzine (2mg) for daytime, and Clonidine (.1mg) for sleep. We had good success

Experiences with Concerta
I was diagnosed with ADHD a few years ago and I just decided I would like to take a stimulant on a regular basis. I have tried Adderall in the past and while I liked the focus it gave me it was too harsh for my stomach and gave me heart palpitations. I started Concerta a little over a week ago. The

Concerta
My 7yo son is about to start Concerta. He has only been on nonstimulants in the past, but that is not doing the trick any longer. Any experiences with this medication? TIA!

Looking for medication advice for ADHD-inattentive type and anxiety
I have ADHD (inattentive type) and anxiety. I am currently not on any medications for ADHD or anxiety but would like to try to find a medication for ADHD that does not make my anxiety worse. In the past, I tried Concerta and Strattera and both made me feel really jittery, sick and dizzy. A nurse practitioner

Should we change medication?
hello! my son is 8 and was diagnosed with ADHD earlier this year. We’ve been working with his paediatrician and school to help support him. I am really unsure if his current medication is working, which I know sounds weird, but im not sure what the expectations should be. He started on Biphentin, which

depression - methylphenidate
hi everyone I’m new here. I became very depressed a few weeks ago and came the the conclusion that it was the matoride XL (methylphenidate) that was causing it. Anybody out there feel anxious/guilty about EVERYTHING?
Hey... After a lifetime of always kind of screwing up/wading through chaos/forgetting all kinds of important things/etc... I started a new job the week before last (in education, so I am committed for the year) and it's been so stressful--everything about this classroom setting is different from my

Need someone Knowledgeable in adhd medications
Hi, I'm here for my 10yr old grandson. He was 48" tall and 48 lbs almost 2 years ago. He Looks more like 7 yrs old. He has been taking concerta for the last 3 years until about 2 months ago. It's good for him, but he will not grow and will not eat. Plus, it makes him have horrible constipation

Newly diagnosed 8 year old. Contemplating meds
We have just gotten the diagnosis for our son having ADHD and have been given the option of meds. Our biggest concern is “losing” everything he has become. My question is, has anyone had this sort of problem with meds? Does your child just become quiet and to themselves? Or are they the same just a little

Has anyone taken the GeneSight test? What was your experience, was it helpful for your medication management?
I just received a copy of my GeneSight test results in advance of an appointment with my psychiatrist. I have some preliminary ideas as to how to interpret and use this info. Some background: I have Bipolar II and ADHD-C. I've been on 18mg of Concerta since January 2021, until the last couple of months

The Fatigue
hello, I was diagnosed with adhd last year. I’m on 36mg of concerta, lexapro 20mg and Wellbutrin 300. Does adhd get better? I just want my brain to be like “hey let’s go shopping for groceries, we can do it” I’m so tired of the inactivity, I am trying so hard. I am trying to cook crock pot meals
