Elvanse & Concerta XL : Worth persisting?

I was diagnosed some years ago with mild ADD. I was initially prescribed Elvanse, it was like a miracle, amazing clarity of thought! However, 2 days in it made me feel sick. I switched to Concerta XL, same problem. Sweating, dizziness, nausea.

I gave up after about 3 days and never returned to the meds.

Anyone experienced similar? if so, did you persist?

Thanks

Mark

No med works perfectly and your body will quickly adjust to side effects. Talk to provider, cut dose in half ... takes 3 weeks or so ... and side effects often decline-hugely decline.

My philosophy: You don't wanna stop at the first sign of a bad side effect. Especially if there is life-saving gold on the other side. But that's just me.
