I restarted my concerta after being off it for about 10 years. First was with 18 it was ok, then 27 same ok now 36. Does anyone else get the foggy feeling and my sleep has changed as I stay up later and wake up later. I’m thinking of going back on 27. What do you all think?

Nope, never got foggy feeling from Concerta, though yes, if could affect my sleep at higher doses. I got energy from Concerta and some motivation.

This is a conversation to have with your provider, who can ask detailed questions. Tell your provider exactly what you've told us here.

Side note: you may have to cut caffeine use or cut off caffeine earlier in the day if your sleep is affected.

This is very individual. What works for someone else may not work for you, and even what worked for past you may not work for present you.

I didn’t get foggy from higher doses, but I did find that there were other side effects. I listened to one doctor’s podcast interview and he said that his way of figuring out a dose is to keep going up until the side effects outweigh the benefits, and then go back down to the last dose before that. That made a lot of sense to me. It sounds like 27 might be that dose for you. But I agree with Gettingittogether that this is a conversation for you to have with your doctor.
