Can anyone give me some stats on the percentage of patients in the UK needing combined therapy T4/T3? That is, percentage of poor converters? Percentage of faulty genes Di01 and DI02? Am writing a follow-up article to the one published for Central Bylines https://centralbylines.co.uk/big-pharma-the-nhs-thyroid-disease-and-me

Degarelix and increased diabetes risk?
My husband had his first Degarelix injection last week. I have been reading that men who get ADT have an increased risk of diabetes. Just wondering because he had a blood test today, and his glucose was high. Diabetes runs in his family as his father, brother and sisters all had/have diabetes. Both father

I go to therapy and really like my therapist but its expensive. Inpay $240/session so i can only afford one session a month. However, i need more. Are there any free therapy or group therapy available for social anxiety, suicidal thoughts, to talk about difficulty in marriage etc?

Your thoughts on next course of action
First, I'd like to thank the many good folks that contribute this forum. Your inputs have been a life send to me over the past several years, especially Tall Allen who recommended UW Medicine where my MO and RO are located. They have been fantastic to work with. The short story - Diagnosed in 2018.

Oar Gel and gold placements for beginners on this journey
I am a beginner on this PC journey but feel fortunate that I caught my cancer before it had spread beyond the prostate. I caught sepsis from my directed transrectal biopsy and spent a lovely few days in ICU flirting with the nurses and trying not to mess up the bed and floor too much. I have 9 weeks

Thyroid and the Menstrual Cycle?
When I was first diagnosed with Graves diseases my periods had practically stopped. I had no period for almost a year thinking the menopause was to blame. I've recently come across an herbal suppliment that has realy helped me. If you research it you'll find that it has some potential for abuse. It effects opioid receptors. Just like opiod meds. degeralix vs lupron
Hello, Any thoughts on which ADT treatment is better? My husband received his first injection with Degeralix today to prevent the testosterone flare and next month the doctor is planning on a 3 month Lupron injection. From what I’ve been reading, it seems that the Degeralix may be better than Lupron
