Thyroid and the Menstrual Cycle?

When I was first diagnosed with Graves diseases my periods had practically stopped. I had no period for almost a year thinking the menopause was to blame. I started Carbimazole and reacted badly to it and had Rai. Soon after I started Levo.

My periods have often been on the heavy side, but after having Rai they were incredibly heavy and long. Sometimes I would have 2 periods a month. My pmdd which I've had on and off for years was also insane. Endo said it would all settle in time.

Nearly 2 years on now, my periods are better but I still have mid cycle bleeding and generally are irregular. I've had various tests and scans and all is OK. My hrt is now being changed to see if that helps... But... Could the lack of thyroid/hormones/levothyroxine be causing issues aswell?
