Colonoscopy
Hey, I think this is my first post on here! However, I'm 20 years old and I have been diagnosed with Endometrosis, I'm scheduled to see my surgeon tomorrow about having a second surgery as it seems the Endometrosis and Adhesions have moved onto my Bowels and Bladder. I am having a Colonoscopy on Saturday

Brachytherapy.
Received Brachytherapy in May of 2010 at the Chicago Prostate Cancer Center so I just passed the nine year survival mark. Back then, I had no idea that I’d still be around this long. Get a PSA every three months and a Cystoscopy every three months since I had bladder cancer in 2016. My PSA stays right

Hi I’m new here!
Hello I’ve had irritable Bowel type symptoms for many years. Over the last six months they have got considerably worse. Referral to a gastroenterologist resulted in a colonoscopy which was normal other than a few diverticula. My symptoms of bloating, flatulence and intermittent diarrhoea continue

So an update about Ryan, The craniotomy had to be postponed. His red blood cell counts tanked for unknown reasons unfortunately. We are currently looking for a GI bleed. We did an endoscopy that turned up clean and normal. But his RBC has continued to drop. He got 2 full bags of condensed RBCs for a

How to get referred to a BSGE centre?
I have been trying to get diagnosed for endometriosis for several years- over four or five years when I periodically got the courage to go to the GPs I have been referred to a urology centre that said they couldn’t see why I had to urinate so often, for a

Yawning??
Ok so some context to this is that I do have health anixety and spent the majority of the last 2 year convinced i was dying of bowel cancer, then having a clear colonoscopy. My son is 8 months old. He has a little bump in his hair line but behind his ear, he has had it since a few weeks old. I watched

IBS
Hi you have my sympathy. I have had ibs for 2 years thankfully no diarrhea. I have taken buscopan it does not stop my pain or nausea! I don't know whether mine is due to having a tortuous colon. I have had a colonoscopy!! Seen a dietician she told me to cut out lactose. But now I regret doing that

Bloating/constipation - could it be endo? Please share experiences
Hi all, I’m curious how many of you have had similar symptoms to me and it turned out to be endometriosis. Two years ago I developed bloating and severe constipation. My GP approached this as a digestive issue so I’ve had a blood test for celiac disease and a colonoscopy, both normal except the colonoscopy

Chronic wind.
I've had digestive problems for a while now but it's definitely getting worse. I can go from having a normal poo to constipation all in one day. Sometimes I pass as I call them, rabbit droppings ! But the worst thing is the bloating and wind which I have nearly all the time. It's embarrassing, and depressing

Health anixety
Hi all, Just a bit of background. Ive been suffering health anixety for about 2.5 years. I believe the trigger came about 6 months after my mum was diagnosed with cancer and was going in for an operation. The very same week i had symptoms that i thought was a urine infection. I was given antibiotics

Rectum type pain?
Hi ladies, im 24 years old and I’m currently awaiting my 5th endo related laparoscopy. I’ve recently (in the last 4 months or so) started getting some new pain type symptoms and wondered if it was something anyone else had experienced as I’m sure it is endo connected but unsure. It’s always on my left

Colonoscopy
Colonoscopy and apixaban. Just been told I will be having this procedure. I had one four years ago approx. Before my afib episode and put on apixaban. I'm just wondering, as it's not been mentioned, will I need to stop the anticoag? Not concerned about stopping as I've only ever had the one episode

Free from IBS
FREE FROM IBS A few years ago I was diagnosed with IBS after a colonoscopy. I thought I was doomed. However, a few weeks later, a friend contacted me and told me of a recipe which could help. At first I was sceptical, but heigh ho, I'd have tried anything. The recipe is simple: 2 oz medium oats, 2 oz

Ultrasound after Zoladex
Hello all. I was wondering if anyone had been sent for a pelvic/trans ultrasound after their Zoladex injections were complete and if any cysts were found? I wasn't sure if this was possible but as I am still having symptoms and pains this is what my gynae wants to check for. He also wants my GP to refer

Gluten...my theory!
Ok, spoiler alert, I have no medical qualification but I do have lots of experience as a IBS and SIBO sufferer, and I've read a fair number of studies and other scientific papers on the subjects...I really need to get out more! During the course of my diagnosis I had a colonoscopy and biopsy results

Hi guys. I am just symptom checking here. My symptoms just seem so odd to have been diagnosed with Endo. Anyway - my pain starts just before I get my period. It shoots through my back and I get the most unbearable cramping, then heavy bleeding passing clots, as well as irritable bowel syndrome and I
