I've had digestive problems for a while now but it's definitely getting worse.
I can go from having a normal poo to constipation all in one day. Sometimes I pass as I call them, rabbit droppings !
But the worst thing is the bloating and wind which I have nearly all the time.
It's embarrassing, and depressing so I have become a much more introverted person as I don't want to go and mix with people with having to put up with this and the worry of passing smelly wind! Holidays too are a nightmare.
I am an anxious person and I know that doesn't help. I've had a colonoscopy carried out which didn't show up anything. The thought of having this for the rest of my life is so depressing.
Have tried so many different things but nothing helps.
Any help out there?

In order to rectify any problem, it is necessary to look at what are the causes and then eradicate them. So, first try to reduce the amount of wind you are passing, to do this you need to reduce the amount of wind getting inside your intestines. The easiest way is to reduce your intake of air: therefore remove fizzy drinks from your diet entirely, reduce the amount of alcohol you consume and then take small mouthfuls of food and chew really well before swallowing.
Now that you have reduced the wind, you need to reduce the smell, and for that you have to look at the food or types of food you are eating. Curries, baked beans, garlic and onion are the major culprit in our diet today, but you can also add peanuts, sweetcorn and most pulses (beans, couscous) to the list, and you would be well advised to remove or at least reduce these from your diet.
