Help!
Hellooo! For almost ten years I have experienced upper right quadrant stomach pain and heart burn but after investigations the Dr always put it down to a fatty liver. This all started when I was pregnant with my first child when I was 18 where I did suffer from severe constipation also, my second pregnancy

Blood and mucus in stool and UTI!??
Hi guys so I’ve had blood and mucus in my stool for a while, the blood is mixed into the mucus. No stomach pain although I do get a dull lowerback/tailbone type of soreness that can last all day. I’ve also noticed I’m gassier. I’ve recently gotten a colonoscopy which has revealed some mild erythema but

How long to get back to NSR after a colonoscopy?
Earlier this week I had a colonoscopy. The procedure itself was fine, almost painless, and removed some small polyps. But now my AF is back big time after a really good year. I am gutted - forgive the pun. I suspect the bowel preparation has played havoc with my electrolytes and also with my gut bacteria

Multiple Bowel Movements
My son (aged 40) has been diagnosed with IBS. He has had a sigmoid colonoscopy that was all clear. For 12 months now he has to go to the toilet about 6-10 times a day starting early in the morning till about 11am. No diarrhoea just lots of bowel movements. Doesn’t matter what he eats, tried everything

Colonoscopy
I am having a colonoscopy next week at 2 o’clock so won’t be able to eat that day. Should I take my 13.5 Prednisolone without food or wait till I get home? I haven’t received the information pack from the hospital yet so not sure of the details.

AF after diarrhoea
I have paroxysmal af and the last 3 episodes have been triggered by diarrhoea. I had to take gastrogaffin as a bowel prep for a CT colonoscopy over the weekend which gave me constant diarrhoea- as expected went into af in the early hours of Monday morning. My EP thinks it may be imbalance of electrolytes

Colonoscopy
Hi everyone I have a colonoscopy on Tuesday 14th. I’ve had one before this is a polyp check. I was wondering does anyone have any advice to make the whole thing easier prep and procedure. I’m worried that as I am a very large lady they won’t sedate me, any experience. Thanks everyone.

Any ideas, Anybody... What could this be?
I just don't know anymore. I'm so weary of seeing blank faces in the medical profession, to be honest some I believe just don't care! I can hardly eat. A few days ago I have actually added to my existing list of 17 things I can't eat. Now I can't even eat rice! So 18 is the new number! So what is it

Health anxiety or something sinister
Hi. Looking back over the years, I have suffered with health anxiety from around 8 years old, my mum used to cry as she was terrified of dying of cancer and my dad thought he was a doctor in his former life so guess as a child I grew up being very aware of every ache and pain ! Sadly they both died of
