Yesterday at the hospital they said they were going to do a colonoscopy within the next two weeks,I’m not to pleased about that,as the last one I had a few years back was hell.

I have had scans in the last few years and a colonoscopy but nothing has been picked up apart from cysts that are there but then disperse?

I had a colonoscopy earlier this year around 6 months ago and everything was fine and got the all clear apart from a benign polyp which was removed. I also suffer with silent reflux which I found out from a camera down to the voice box around 3 weeks ago.

On Monday 7th November I am due to have an Endoscopy and a colonoscopy to remove a polyp from my bowel, I have been told to stop my Apixaban for three days. A month ago I had a three lead pacemaker fitted. I can’t help worrying about everything and feel really scared.

After having my baby I went and had a colonoscopy and gastroscopy done as well as biopsies. Everything came back clear!! I also have severe bloating and I'm not sure what this could be! Even the specialist is not sure what it could be! I am really starting to freak out!

Since I already have a colonoscopy pending, I don’t think I would need to be seen unless it’s urgent. Has anyone experienced this? Is there anything I can do to help it? Should I maybe go on liquids today?

I know I will need a Colonoscopy to see what's happening. I am terrified of going tomorrow. What can they tell by the blood tests I wonder.

I saw the bowel man yesterday and he pressed tummy but i knew hed feel no lumps. i tried to tell him re pee issue but he wasnt bothered i felt just said he cant check the scan results nit back and will discuss with the gastro and as i had a colonoscopy 2019 nothing would have changed since then.

Hello Girls, Recently found out my Endometriosis is back after 8months after excision surgery! I felt on top of the world and best of ever felt in May 2021! Around August/Sept things started to change. I had an MRI scan in November and got my results before Xmas and was told I had Endometriosis on my

GP had said a colonoscopy was possible but I guess that won’t happen quickly given my test results haven’t shown anything worrying. Symptoms all seem consistent with IBS, although I haven’t yet identified any triggers other than stress.

Would gastroenterologist tell me if some nasty was found straight after colonoscopy?. I was handed a report indicating diverticulitis and biopsies taken to exclude microscopic colitis. No mention of polyps or masses I briefly asked him about results. He just said the scope went well!. Thanks

The Consultant said they get excited at a score of 400 so he is arranging an urgent colonoscopy not sure how long I will have to wait. Has anyone else had similar issues?

She wants me to have a colonoscopy (in 2 weeks!) and has prescribed a drug called SuTab as the laxative to be used during the prep. It is pills that you take in two rounds, one the afternoon before and one in the wee hours the morning of your procedure.

hi all, I have recently been referred and I’m booked in for a colonoscopy next Monday. I have rectal bleeding and blood visible in my poop. I also have lower stomach pain. I see peoples fit tests have scores but mine came back as significantly elevated fit test. What does this mean?

On Friday, I had a colonoscopy as I am still suffering with symptoms from my UC flare. I have had a few of these in the past and though unpleasant, with sedation I have been able to see the procedure through.

Op deferred at present as few incidents of angina now & awaiting results of CT colonoscopy, GP says initial report shows nothing untoward but general diverticular disease which I have had for 25years plus. Why then have I been having severe bouts of unexplained explosive diarrhoea.
