Help with diagnosing gut issues that suddenly started 18 months ago
Just had a
colonoscopy
2 days ago. It was mostly clean, except for two smallish ulcers at the junction of large and small colon. The specialist guesses it *might* be what's causing my symptoms, but I'm sceptical.

Colonoscopy yesterday
I'm 54 years old and had my
colonoscopy
yesterday when I was diagnosed with bowel cancer. I had my CT scan today and waiting to find out if it has spread. My biggest fear is needing a stoma bad after surgery. Help, I'm panicking!

2 Failed Colonoscopies and Worried about Anemia and CT Colonoscopy Radiation Doses
I had 2 agonising failed ones in 2018 and a CT
colonoscopy
. I also had a abdominal CT 4 months ago. I’m worried about my radiation dose from so many CTs. I’m a trained radiation supervisor at work so know that 3 CTs will give me a dose of around 60mSv.

Clear Colonoscopy
Has anyone had a clear
colonoscopy
, in which the bowel looked normal, after taking Budesonide and Methotrexate? I have Chron's and was in hospital for five days over Christmas with a really bad flare. Does this mean that the Chron's has gone or is just remission?

59 and finally diagnosed
So finally after being told by my doctor many years ago bad periods - even with shooting pains down thighs and in my hands - was normal for some women. I complained many times but was fobbed off with otc painkillers. And of course IBS was mentioned Then it was definitely IBS .. 4 colonoscopies, one

Bright yellow urine, Flank pain, Flakes in urine
(
Colonoscopy
, upper endoscopy, MR Enterography all normal except for a "distended" (inflamed?) cecum seen on the MRI.) In the fall of 2019, I rapidly lost muscle mass and dropped about 10% of my body weight (which has since stabilized).

Is it IBS?
Ended up having a
colonoscopy
where they saw nothing wrong and said if the biopsies don't show anything I'd have to have further tests. The biopsies showed nothing, but they signed me off and didn't do any more tests and just said it's probably IBS.

Diagnosis dead end and worsening cyclical pain
Otherwise, my next steps are a referral to gastro, potentially with a proposed
colonoscopy
, and/or a chronic pain specialist. Has anyone else had any similar experiences and either did have endo? Or was eventually diagnosed with something else?

Passing blood clots, usually heavy bleeding also
I have had a
colonoscopy
and everything came back clear too. This has been going on since 2019 and still no further forward. I did cut lactose from my diet as it stopped the stomach cramps and i could pass stool normally again. But i am still really worried about the bleeding.

Octasa 800mg MR and slow metabolism?
Hi everyone I was diagnosed with moderate UC 5 years ago and am lucky to have only had 2 flares - the first one being brought on by the
colonoscopy
.| Occasionally I have an accident when I don't quite make it to the loo in time - fortunately whilst I'm still at home.

Endometriosis, stomach inflammation, severe back, buttock, leg pain, possible bowel prolapse and other issues. Anyone else ?
Thinking could be prolapse but on the 2week wait for
colonoscopy
. Obviously terrified. After opening bowels yesterday, I do think I have a prolapse. Feel something on wiping but then it disappears? Back, leg pain slightly improved today. Other symptoms.

Nausea
So had a
colonoscopy
and gastroscopy. It showed stomach inflammation (the prep for that really wiped me put). I've stopped coffee and most other foods that cause me nausea. So I'm back to rheumatologist next Tuesday.

Worried about colon Cancer
Also, when I drop off the stool sample, should I push for the
colonoscopy
? One other thing to note is that I have what I would consider an undiagnosed eating disorder.

Colitis, Terminal iletis or Crohns?
He also mentioned a
colonoscopy
which I was happy about because I though maybe it was more than IBS and thought I would be getting answers. The
colonoscopy
went well. I found the moviprep difficult! They found apthouous ulcers in my terminal iluem and I had biopsies taken which came back normal.

B12 injections
My doctor is having me go through all the usual GI tests, upper endoscopy,
colonoscopy
and even sending me for a PET scan. I have said that I really feel this is all B12 deficiency related.
