Will try and sum up as short as i can, pain began on my right side in 2019 (painful periods for years before but told normal so i ignored it, didn't ease, had ultra sounds which showed ovarian cysts, told normal) bowels started to misbehave so sent for colonoscopy, all normal so told to adjust diet

Ive been referred for a colonoscopy in June and I’m very anxious about it as somebody mentioned that your bowel could be perforated. Also nervous about the preparation which sounds horrible. Any advice and reassurance would be welcome

Gastro wants me to have a colonoscopy (had one before, don't want another). I'm tired and in pain and fed up 😜 Anyone else in the same boat and how are you dealing with it?

I already had a colonoscopy scheduled for October, but I’m thinking this warrants a more urgent look. I’ve been informing my GI about these sightings. Since it’s the weekend, I haven’t heard back since Friday. I am concerned, but I’m hopeful that this is something like internal hemorrhoids.

Hello , I am 52 yrs old and this will be my first colonoscopy . For about a year I have has haemorrhoids on and off very itchy and sore bottom that goes with it. Felt the lump/s when I have had the attacks. No lumps present now.

My colonoscopy isn’t until September. It’s sharp pain when I press in that area. Sometimes massaging it makes the pain go away but not the lumps. Anyone else get this? Of course any lumps are often a concern about tumors and I’d love to hear that others deal with this and it’s not a tumor.

Hi guys quick update, I'm now taking some preparations for colonoscopy, I'm taking 3 tablets of bisacodyl and another 3 tablets on another 6hours, I'm taking lactulose syrup too, any suggestion guys and feedback for my preparations, as of now I'm taking 3 tablets, do I really need to be worry?

I have been referred via the suspected colorectal cancer pathway and my colonoscopy is on Tuesday 9th April. I am petrified it is going to show cancer, it is the high result that scares me most and the fact that the GP has already ruled out IBD.
