petrified about possible colon cancer symptoms/diagnostic process
I have a GI appt. in a few days for a
colonoscopy
referral. I'm scared out of my wits. Just a complete mess of anxiety. I'm having trouble eating and sleeping. All I do is Google colon cancer related topics and freak myself out even more.

High Platelet Diagnosis Update….
I’ve also had an all clear
colonoscopy
and endoscopy. Other things I am diagnosed with are hypothyroidism, irritable bowel syndrome, many allergies and vitiligo. Whilst conducting her tests the Haematologist said I was Iron deficient but not to the extent that I was anaemic.

undigested food
I was tested for everything including
colonoscopy
and endoscopy. Nothing was detected from the procedure or the biopsy. But I continue to have problems digesting food. I have been eating mainly blended food but still have severe cramps and diarrhea.

Post Nephrectomy Diet, CKD, diet, supplements
in December 2021; I had been having digestive issues for some time (1-2 years prior to diagnosis; really, most of my life), and misdiagnosed I assume numerous times as Western medicine said "nothing wrong," you just need to get yourself on a LOW-Fod diet, nothing wrong we can see (after many tests,

colposcopy while trying / ivf timing
I have a colposcopy scheduled for just after my next period which will be my first natural bleed after my second failed cycle. I had an appointment in august before my first cycle and they didn’t take a biopsy because I wanted to to ahead with the cycle. I am wondering if they do need to take a biopsy

Had virtual
colonoscopy
(sorry!) Monday am this week, and wonder if this is related to that? Inclined to think so, but would anyone know? Many thanks for any pointers here.

Possible IBS but GP doesn’t know for sure…..
I had a
colonoscopy
2 weeks ago and all results came back normal as did my blood and ultrasound. I’m completely at a loss and it’s affecting my mental health. Every medical professional I have spoken to says it’ll get better and keep taking Imodium and have a plain diet.

Where does the blood come from?
I had a
colonoscopy
and it was all clear they took some biopsies but results i probably wont get this year. I know this is common with endometriosis, but where does the blood come from if there isn't endometriosis on the inside of the colon?

Blood In Stool Relief
On the 28th if November I went in for
colonoscopy
and by that time I wanted it over and done with regardless of how bad the news was. I found out that I didn’t have a tumor or any polyps, the bleeding is coming from Colitis.

Diverticulitis
I’m awaiting a
colonoscopy
but that won’t be for another 6 weeks or so as the bowel needs to heal. If anyone else is going through or been through a similar thing please reach out because I’m scared.

Feel like I had all the exams, incuding a
colonoscopy
- yikes, and my doctor is now saying it’s a “skeletal problem”.

what to think?
I had
colonoscopy
, pelvic u/s and mammo about 10 months ago. I just don’t know what to think and I’m having a hard time waiting for three months…I reached out to another hematologist for a 2nd opinion but they are booked until fall. I called Hopkins, but you need a referral to go there.

Rib and chest pain?
Gastroscopy found nothing,
colonoscopy
pending. My question is, lower rib pain left side, higher on right, also reaches under right shoulder and left neck. GP dismissed Stills Disease involvement instantly and has only spoken to me on the phone for 5 minutes. I’m not with a rheumatoid specialist.

A future without screening colonoscopies.
interesting developments for diagnosing bowel cancer. https://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/990465 Many of us experience gut symptoms with our diseases, I for one find this interesting.

Finally some progress
So she had a CT/MRI/US/Biopsys done, GI scopes
colonoscopy
... every test you can imagine. Her LFTs again remained normal except her Billi's high and low hemoglobin. The diagnosis was rapid onset NASH due to rapid weight loss. The masses seen were fatty lesions.

I am scheduled for my regular
