Picolax Prep only

Have my prep tomorrow for a colonoscopy and have been given Picolax on its own (without senna etc - I unfortunately can’t have senna), but I’ve heard mixed reviews about this one with some people saying it didn’t clear them out fully.

I was wondering if anyone was given Picolax only for their colonoscopy and if it worked ok for you and how many sachets you were given (I’ve only been given the 2 sachets)?

I’ve had many colonoscopies and never just Picolax. I always get MoviPrep or Suprep. Perhaps the Picolax was an insurance decision? I may look into this product for my 2025 colonoscopy 🤔.

Well, I hope things went well. Did you get full sedation? What were the reasons you were having this done? Did you immediately get your results or are you waiting on histology?Was this surveillance or did you have some symptoms? How did you find the whole process to be and should some things be improved? This type of information can be helpful to others as well👍❤️

ask for MoviPrep. It’s so much easier than any others I’ve taken!
