Bronchiecstasis & pneumonia
Diagnosed with brochiecstasis in 2004. Have 65% lung capacity. Been recuperating from pneumonia since late March. I’m on oxygen therapy. After 2 follow up visits (& mri & chest c-rays), was told if lungs don’t return to the health prior to the pneumonia, may have to consider a lung transplant. That sound

Hello y'all, We've been thinking that my Dads side effects after each infusion were just getting kinda crappy since they were building on each other. He's in icu on a vent and the doctor is saying that it's likely the keytruda. Upon the transfer from a rural hospital to a metroplex hospital he got

Today marks 15 years since my bone marrow transplant for leukaemia. Crazy to think so many years have gone by and a definite cause for celebration tonight with my Dad and wife - we're going for a curry. Opportunity for paid interview.
If you were diagnosed with lung cancer in the last 3 years and you are on a second line of treatment but have NOT had progression you qualify. Must be a US citizen. Pays $100 for a 1 hour interview. Example: Chemo then a maintenance drug or chemo then immunotherapy. I’ve worked with this group

Unbearable wait.
Hi everyone I'm new here. My sister in law was diagnosed with lung cancer 7 weeks ago. Pleural fluid results came back inconclusive so she had biopsy 10 days ago. Still no results . Is it normal to wait this long? Thanks x

Immunotherapy do’s and dont’s
After last year’s immunotherapy debacle, my mom tried again yesterday and thankfully tolerated it much better. My question now is; what are your do’s and fonts while on immunotherapy? No side effects so far but she’s eating wisely. Can we go to a movie theatre? Her guide says to stay out of crowded places

Immunotherapy Stage IV
Hi everyone. My sister was diagnosed with stage iv lung cancer last month. She never smoked, so the likely culprit was radon (we grew up in a high risk area in the 70's and 80's and I didn't know what radon was until the diagnosis). She qualified for a immunotherapy clinical trial and received her first

Bronchoscopy with BAL
Hi there, I'm currently under the Royal Brompton Hospital for undiagnosed breathlessness and complex cough. I've had CT scans, CPET testing, and blood tests galore, but on Thursday I will have my first ever bronchoscopy with BAL and possible biopsy...and I am terrified. I really hated having the tube

One week later his left

after closing his chest. CT scan showed no physical airway obstruction while the bronchoscopy showed his left airway closed. Both of his kidneys stopped working. He’s still on ECMO and now on dialysis.
