Anxious about results

7weeks ago I had a routine chest X-ray my go rang me and said it was showing an elevated diaphragm, this frightened me. I had another X-ray 7days ago my results were in my patient access notes how long will it be b efore doctor contacts me if something is wrong.

Hi Dizzybozz1, your doctor would contact you as soon as he sees the results if anything was wrong, I would like to think.

If you’re concerned, ring your surgery today and ask. Hope the results are good. Stay in touch. Xxxxx

Hi,

I agree with Sassy. Ring your Practice and ask to speak to doctor if necessary. My husband had an elevated diaphragm. Turned out he had a low grade infection in his lung and some of the little air sacs had partially filled with fluid. They gave him two lots of antibiotics and he was fine.

I realise for some people not knowing can be worrying.But,

have found it best not to worry until you know results and what

they mean. This way you are not stressing about nothing !!!!
