Happy Days Are Here Again

For those of you diagnosed with stage 4, don’t give up! Hope is a wonderful aid to healing. I had my usual three month scan and “there is no evidence of disease”. When I was diagnosed in 2013, it was assumed that I only had months to live. I am celebrating my news not only for me but those who are wondering if they can survive stage four. I have for six years now and I pray more and more of you get your names written in the survivor column. Believe you can get through this. My faith was and is my best defender against lung cancer.

More good news—I have graduated from three to every four month scans. I plan to keep on keeping on and you do, too!

Judy

I’ve just seen your post from 9 months ago & it’s given me hope. Although my husband was diagnosed stage 3 I’m always looking to see successful outcomes. I suffer from mental health so it’s been a horrible time for us both. So many posts send me spiralling into depression so thank you so much for a positive post.

We’ve got so many people praying so us when he has his scan results next week.

I pray you’re still keeping well & wish you many more good years.

I am indeed well. I continue to be cancer free. My next scan is in July. Being positive and maintaining hope and faith were my best tools in believing I would get through this. Let me know how his scan went. Even though this is a very difficult time, you are not alone. Prayers for you both.
