Post-pleurodesis pains?

Fluid in opposite lung post Lobectomy
Hi My mum is 4 months post right lung lobectomy, she had an x-ray on Tues which shows this lung is clear - amazing news! However, they said it looks like there's fluid on the left lung, she's to go back in 6 weeks for another x-ray and post that possibly a CT scan, is this a cause for concern?

Research study: Have you recently been diagnosed with lung cancer?
[I'm re-posting for any recent members. Thank you again to all those who have already responded and taken part.] Were you diagnosed with lung cancer within the last 12 months? Have your say about your experiences in the PEARL study - a research programme led by UCL and funded by Cancer Research UK.

Low grade temp after lung surgery
Hello I just want to get some advice regarding my recent surgery and recovery. I had a bi-lobectomy in July. I didn’t need any further treatment and been recovering pretty well. Although in the last few weeks (since about mid September) I have notice I have been getting a low grade fever fluctuating

Update - Immunotherapy treatment
Its been a while since my last post, since my partner was diagnosed with incurable lung cancer with spread to an adrenal gland. I've thought long and hard about posting this as so many are so distressed about their situations, but felt it may help offer some hope to others. My partner was an ideal

Can someone help my understand when immunotherapy is an option?
Hi, my mom was diagnosed with Stage 4 non small cell lung cancer with Mets to bones in Feb 2019. She has EGFR mutation 18. The doctor mentioned possibly trying immunotherapy as she is having progression to more bones after two TKI and chemo. She does not have PDL1 mutation and her last blood biopsy

Moffitt researchers develop tool to better predict treatment course for lung cancer.
Personalized treatment options for patients with lung cancer have come a long way in the past two decades. Colon Mass Secondary to Lung Cancer
Has anyone experienced having a malignant colon mass after being treated for Lung Cancer? My father had upper right lung lobectomy in 2017 and finished chemotherapy, now he has a colon mass, his gastro doctor said he needs to undergo chemotherapy first to make the tumor smaller then will proceed to surgery

Lung cancer treatment
Hi My father has squamous cell carcinoma T4 N0 M0 on upper right lung. Can’t have surgery due to location and can’t have chemo due to MRI brain showing some vessels enlarged .. as this could lead to a stroke . So he is just started plan of 20x Radical radiotherapy treatments. Clinic letter from oncologist
