Mesalamine side effects
I recently have been diagnosed with UC and have been prescribed rowasa (mesalamine enema) and lialda (mesalamine oral). Bleeding has reduced however has anyone had issues with white coatings on their stool? Is this normal or should I be concerned?

Good morning everyone My usual early morning wake up with teeth clenched together and heart pounding. Now accompanied by confusion! Does anyone know if Automimmune conditions such as RD, Colitis etc along with immune suppressant meds such as MTX Adalimumab and maintenance prednisone still count as Clinically

Rectal prednisolone (UK)

What impact does mouth breathing have on afib/ectopics?
I've seen a few bits and pieces around the internet on this, but nothing solid. I also saw a topic on afibbers about people taping their mouths shut, etc to force nose breathing. Problem for me is that I have a dysfunctional breathing issue, which I've had for a couple of years and I'm struggling to

Immune response to Sars-Cov-2 following organ transplantation.
Even patients with suppressed immune systems can achieve a strong immune response to Sars-Cov-2. A test helps to adapt therapy following an infection. A research team from the University Hospital at Ruhr-Universität Bochum (RUB) has developed a test that provides information on the immune response

collagenous colitis help!
Morning everyone, I have just had a biopsy come back as above. Struggling with symptoms at the moment, definitely a flare up as upset bowel, cramps/pain etc. My question is, do you also feel achy and lethargic and soooo tired when you have a flare up or is it localised just to the bowel? Thanks you

Hi all, May anyone who has had abdominal adhesions or pelvic adhesions tell me what it was like? And what you did to resolve them? At first I thought I had pelvic floor dysfunction, but my PT doesn’t think i do. So I am looking for other consequences of Pelvic inflammatory disease, and found a lot of

Hi all x I have IBS-D which I manage through a gluten free diet and try to avoid certain fodmaps - this has got rid of the cramping etc. However if I don’t take an Imodium weekly, I’ll have watery frequent bowel movements - Even after taking my Imodium I am still able to have a BM each day so that’s

Hi ladies, I have stage 4 of endometriosis and also ulcerative colitis. Do someone have ulcerative colitis or chron disease? If you do, what symptoms do you experience? In my case I have a cyst of 8 cm in my left ovary, an endo nodule of 2.5 cm in the rectum and my right ovary tied up to the uterus.
