So scared...
I had a routine colonoscopy 2 weeks ago and 10days after I received a letter to see my surgeon. I knew the result must be bad, but not this bad! My cancer is back, sited in the opening of my colostomy, my surgeon says I need the remainder of my large bowel removing and also my rectum! I am not worried

Silent Reflux after Lung Surgery for Early Cancer
I had a right lower lobectomy in February. My consultant is pleased with my recovery and I am now just being monitored. However after this surgery I had symptoms develop that lead me to now believe I have silent reflux or LPR. I've had an endoscopy that found only mild gastritis. I take Esomeprazole

Update Cough
Like mentioned previously my mom has had cough attacks since her lobectomy 3 months ago. They started 2 weeks ago. She says her throat gets scratchy and she panics when she coughs and her eyes get teary. She fears this so much, it mostly happens when she is in cold places like stores. She hates going

Missed diagnosis for lung cancer.
I have been looking through previous posts for lung cancer and the treatment and diagnosis for lung cancer and a couple of people wrote about the appalling treatment their family member's had from their hospital. My hospital had my tumour on an Xray for over 2 year's but omitted to tell anybody despite

A year on
So over a year from my colon cancer diagnosis and I had my CT scan on Monday. Just waiting on results now which I’m told can be a few weeks. A year with my colostomy bag too & it’s been fine!

Adenocarcinoma Recurrence
I have just learned that I definitely have a recurrence of my adenocarcinoma from my LLL lobectomy 2.5 years ago. PET scan and brain MRI next week. Then we will know whether it is stage 3 or 4. We will plot our course of action at that point. New territory for me. Best to you all, Rick

Bones
Happy Saturday everyone. So once again I am here with my fear. Mom had her lobectomy 3 months ago doing amazing. Her ankles have hurt but it has been there even before she had surgery. Now her knee has been hurting for two days. I am so afraid of bone mets. Can it spread that quick if it was? Our appointment

Post Lobectomy
Hey everyone. So my mom has been good so far, we will go to the oncologist soon, its been almost 3 months since surgery and she has been doing well. Is coughing normal at night? She seems to choke on her saliva alot. Also, everytime she drinks a liquid she says she can feel it in the lung area. She says

Rectovaginal and rectal endometriosis having hysterectomy in 8 days. They said I may wake with a colostomy bag??
So 14 months ago I had surgery, excision surgery. Four hours in operation. Rectovaginal, rectal, on side walls, and pelvic floor they found ‘superficial ‘ endometriosis. Had my tubes from kidney to bladder ( forget their name) moved as they had endometriosis on/around them. My uterus was noted as ‘bulky

Possible Recurrance
Hello, my survivor friends. My latest CT scan showed a RUL nodule that has increased in size from 6 mm to 8 mm since three months ago. Also the subcarinal lymph node(s) increased in size from 1.6 cm to 2.7 cm in the same time period. They will be attempting a needle biopsy of the nodule next week.
