Withdrawal of antidepressants/anxiolytics - Treatment Resistant Severe Depression & Anxiety.
I can't read anything now because of severe anxiety and
cognitive
impairment
. But i just glanced through the book and got the essence of it - floating! It's now 3 weeks after tapering & stopping the 1st antidepressant and about a week after stopping the 2nd antidepressant.

Memory problems and Cognitive decline
The biggest side effect I am noticing at the moment is memory loss and
cognitive
impairment
. I have always been very sharp and had a good memory and brain on me, so it is distressing to experience this. It feels like I have extreme mental fatigue and my brain simply wont work.

Prospect of TAVI or more invasive aortic valve replacement
Controlled hypertension and mild
cognitive
impairment
though no one seems concerned except me . I assumed TAVI but cardiologist now wants angiogram before referral to Leeds to check condition of stents which might mean more invasive approach!!

Plus I had
cognitive
impairment
, felt bloody cold and other symptoms. My blood pressure would drop from 115/75 in the morning to 101/61 by early afternoon and I’d be wiped out. 80mg artovastatin was stopped on January for a trial period that went on for a month.

Lipid test results on 10mg Rosuvastatin
I found that I had
cognitive
impairment
and fatigue as 2 of the side effects of artovastatin and that really hindered me taking full day big bike lessons . The training school were fab and gave me two hour lessons that I started in April 2024.

FND or effects from severe Tinnitus
However, I found a study on "The characteristics of
cognitive
impairment
in subjective chronic tinnitus". I score severe on the Tinnitus Handicap Inventory (THI). Therefore 'm not 100% convinced about FND unless they are one of the same.

SMOKING!
Smoking
Smoking is the practice of inhaling smoke from burning plant material. Nicotine works on your brain to create a relaxing, pleasurable feeling that makes it tough to quit. But smoking tobacco puts you at risk for cancer, stroke, heart attack, lung disease and other health issues. Nicotine

Inference Based Cognitive Behavior Therapy (I-CBT)?
Hello, Our daughter L was transferred into a residential treatment program for mood and anxiety disorders on Thursday for what is intended to be a 30-45 day stay. It does not sound as if she will be getting a lot of ERP there, but at least she will be cut off from the opportunity to carry out some

Opportunities to help with research
Good morning all! We've had a lot of requests from researchers for volunteers to help with their studies. We've been sharing them on social media, but I thought I'd do a round up here. For most of them, there's simply an online questionnaire, but for some, it's more in-depth interviews and discussions

Thoughts on cognitive behavioral therapy?
I'm so worn out from trying to get well from this depression and anxiety. I think I've had it all my life and was able to cope when I was younger, but now I'm 70 and it's like something snapped in my brain. Don't respond to anti-depressants, therapy and ketamine didn't work and now I'm trying microdosing
