CBT-I (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Insomnia) for Parkinson's Insomnia
I have read in multiple places that Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia works for people with Parkinson's. I can't seem to find anyone who has tried it. Has anyone here tried it? Did it work?

ADAA Personal Story: Why I Wrote a Children’s Book about Postpartum Depression When I Was 9-Months Pregnant
When I was growing up, I watched people on TV enter emergency rooms inaccurately believing they were suffering from a heart attack. After a full workup was done, the relieved TV doctor pronounced it was only a panic attack. For a long time, I wondered how someone could possibly confuse emotional stress

Just Tired
Hi Everyone - this is such a valuable community. I just wanted to vent a little. Are any parents on this journey just feeling tired? We have weathered the nasty teachers, the disinterested teachers, the play therapy, the behavior therapy, the unconventional treatments, the medications, the school

why docs don’t want to prescribe opioids for RLS….😔
With all the recent total panic by docs on not prescribing opioids, I thought I would just attach Andy Berkowski’s excellent piece on why we are often being refused opioids now and almost certainly in the future at least for sometime. You may well have read this article before Kakally Andy Berkowski

Will I ever get my son back?
My 5 year old son was diagnosed with ADHD and DMDD. He's angry and mean all the time. He didn't used to be this way; it started developing a few years ago and has gotten worse. We're trying now to find medication, none seem to work so far. He needs behavioral therapy but I can't afford it. He's so smart

Kratom anti-depressant, anti-psychotic, anti-anxiety herb!
I've recently come across an herbal suppliment that has realy helped me. If you research it you'll find that it has some potential for abuse. It effects opioid receptors. Just like opiod meds. For pain you take a large dose. In large doses it also has a sedating effect. That is were the addiction lays

Anyone tried Well Red (red light therapy) products? or any other brand?
If the question has already been asked, could anyone point me out to a similar thread? Would like to know if anyone tried the red light therapy helmets from Well Red or any other brand and if they had positive reviews? Truly appreciate the feedback

Treatment Preferences in Patients with Hypothyroidism: an Analysis of Eleven Randomized Controlled Trials
I have only read this abstract - once, and very quickly - hence no real comments. But patients preferring combination treatment is hardly a surprise. We'd probably prefer our own nicely working thyroid - which would be producing T4 and T3. Wouldn't it? [i]Treatment Preferences in Patients with Hypothyroidism
