PIP when on oxygen 24/7
What a shocking past week! I've had COPD ( emphysema ) for several years but over the course of the last few weeks I've experienced a rapid decline in my breathing to the degree I could only walk a few metres before being totally out of breath. On Wednesday I attended a routine appointment at Sevenoaks

Post ablation (1 week) and back in AFib. How often is this likely to happen over next few weeks?
Have had PAF for a few years and this year episodes became lengthier and more frequent, the latest lasting 4 weeks. Had a Cryo-ablation last Tuesday at Lancashire Cardiac Centre and was ok for a week, albeit with a few spells of ectopic beats and a very short run of AF (30-40 seconds only). Went on

Filgotinib with Colds Sore throat
Hello Can I ask I anyone on filgotinib, if you get cold (which feels like it's a head cold all stuffed up) and sore throat, do you stop filgotinib till its better or keep taking it? I know I have to stop if needing antibiotics but wasn't sure for a cold. Your experiences would be very welcome Thank

Update
Hi, my partner is still in hospital with what we were told was liver failure /decomp Cirrhosis. They seem to think its now Alcoholic Hepatitis as his last US scan doesn't really suggest Cirrhosis and he has no ascites. He is still yellow and is having a colonoscopy today. The consultant has also said

Amiodarone and AF
I had cardioversion in August at Bartās to restore sinus rhythm after being in persistent AF for 6 months. Been on amiodarone and pleased to report not a single flutter since. Had transformed my life. Cardiologist wants to reduce my dose and later change me to another drug. Does anyone have experience
