I had low dose brachytherapy in 2010 with seeds and success. My PSA started raising again in 2021. I opted for high dose brachytherapy and my PSA is 0.1. This year I had difficulty urinating and recently had a procedure similar to a TURP to remove tissue in my urethra near my prostate. This procedure

Ferrittin level (Different Opinions)
Last Wednesday (26th July) I had my 3 monthly blood test in relation to my Myelofibrosis and asked for my Ferrittin level and TSATS to be checked also. The Nurse/Clinician found Ferrittin on the data base but not TSATS and was a bit baffled by the whole TSATS thing. I concluded that I would only get

Update on Weaning off of Pramipexole
Hello Everyone, I am posting in case this might be helpful to those going through getting off Pramipexole (PRAM) or thinking about it. I posted last Sunday about not feeling comfortable reducing the PRAM, but through encouragement on this site, I took the deep dive. I was taking .25 for about 5 years

Sleeping w/out THC for the first time in 5 years
I'm still trying to figure out several PD issues that I think are related to the estrogen patch I started about a year ago, and I intend to post about that eventually, but I wanted to give a quick update because my severe insomnia seems to be resolved. The last time I tried sleeping without THC was

Advice sought on switching from Tramadol to THC/CBD
I'm on 50 - 100mg of tramadol a day and slowly getting augmentation. Started with 50mg and now I alternate nights at 100mg. I'm reluctant to go to 100mg everyday yet but most nights 50mg doesn't work great. My Dr has suggested I try a THC 10mg/CBD 10mg medication and stopping Tramadol, so I will give

Ex-THC Vape user with lung pains
I will just repost my Bio here. It covers most everything. I’m just looking for help and maybe (hopefully) reassurance. I’m 35, I have 2 beautiful kids. I just want to see them grow up. I made mistakes and wish I could change things. Here is my story: I started vaping THC around 2015. I really didn’

Advice needed?
Cutting a long story short I signed up to Sapphire Clinic who are now Curleaf and they recommended THC/CBD oil which didn't work for me as it give me terrible headaches and stomach issues. I got back in touch and they have said that my options are gummies and vaporizing. The gummies are full of sugar

A Neophyte's Experience with a Gummy
Some of you might be interested in my gummy experience. I do not advocate anything here, but just want to share a new experience. Outside of four episodes in my eighty-four plus years, I have not used marijuana or other drugs beyond alcohol, coffee, maté from the Pampas of Argentina, and whatever uppers

Indica variety of THC infused sour gummies
I take 10 mg of Indica variety of THC, not Sativa, every night. Indica doesn’t have as much of a psychotropic effect. Sometimes there’s a little feeling of paranoia ( what’s that sound downstairs? What’s that feeling in my chest? ) but nothing bad and usually I just smile to myself, recognizing the

Sharing my recent journey with Parkinson's-induced insomnia
Hello everyone, Parkinson's-induced insomnia is a very common problem. I just wanted to share my recent experience, in the hope that it might help others I was diagnosed 4 years ago (symptomatic for 6 years) and, until recently, I would wake up a few times at night, but a few mg of melatonin would

Opinions on THC and CBD gummies for cancer pain.
Have you or do you use gummies to help manage cancer pain? Do you use THC, or CBD, or blended? How much do you take in 1 dose? How often per day do you dose? How effective has it been? Do you use it instead of opiates or as an add on? Any side effects to be aware of? Thanks in advance!

Why cant I stop being sad and miserable
I have never lost a close loved one in my 32 years of life and over Christmas I saw my grandfather and he wasn't doing very well. Since that moment daily I have been reflecting on life and how fast it's all really going by. I start to look at old pictures and watch videos of my kids and all it does is

DHA for dyskinesia also improving sleep?
I'm doing Dr. Mischley's DHA protocol for dyskinesia (https://healthunlocked.com/cure-parkinsons/posts/150377221/high-dose-dha-and-dyskinesia-my-experience-so-far). I started my second bottle of high-dose DHA this past Friday. I feel like I'm experiencing almost exactly what she said she sees in her
