Cutting a long story short I signed up to Sapphire Clinic who are now Curleaf and they recommended THC/CBD oil which didn't work for me as it give me terrible headaches and stomach issues. I got back in touch and they have said that my options are gummies and vaporizing. The gummies are full of sugar and for someone who suffers with stomach issues don't sound like a good idea. However I'm wondering if they are worth a try. The other option they have said is purchasing a vaporizer at a cost of between £190-£300 and purchasing both THC and CBD flower of which you inhale using the vaporizer. The cost of the The THC and CBD is £40 each for 10gx2. This makes it really expensive for something I don't even know will work for me. Also how far will 20grams go? I could use 20g within a week, I've never done this so don't know how long it will last. Any advice please.

hello Jezee - vaporisers are not that expensive. I would search the internet for dry herb vaporisers - yiu can get a good one for £48 free delivery.

Yes you will find the flowers a lot better than gummies or CBD oil. For starters it is instant and you can get relief quickly. I get my doctor to prescribe the Indica varieties as it is body and mind relaxing - very good for sleep. I would also look at different providers - there is a massive difference in pricing. Seems like your doctor likes to hike the prices quite high. For best pain relief you will need to have a CBD/ THC mix as the THC is the most powerful against RLS. Good luck in your journey . I find that 10 grams lasts 2- 3 months but I only use at night. I think it is worth a try.
Thanks for getting back to me apparently Sapphire clinic have said that the only vaporisers that have been given certification as compliant medical devices by UK bodies are the Volcano Medic 2 and Mighty Medic and Mighty Medic +. volcanovaporizer.com/.
I have tried many vaporisers - I read reviews which I think are a good indicator of how good and reliable they are and my favourite is the cheap one. I don't know what UK rules are but here in Australia we can get any vaporiser we want. I hope you don't have to spend such a large amount of money especially as you are not sure if it suited to you as a medication.
You don't have to use the Clinic's recommended vaporizers.Try Amazon or ebay. I didn't like using flower, so sold my vaporiser cheaply om ebay.
Thanks for the reply, can I ask why you didn't like using the flower? I thought the gummies would be good but I have a very sensitive tummy and there is a lot of sugar in them.
I did very well on the oil with 20% THC. It's just a matter of what works best for each person. Goldie is right though, vaping flower will give instant relief, whereas the oil takes around 90 mins to kick in.Cannabis didn't actually help or stop my RLS, but it did send me into a deep sleep for around 3 hours.
I use CBD oil and Gummies occasionally if I wake up with RLS...but as you say, they are expensive and I try to ration them. We have not found a cure or drug free treatment for RLS..yet...🙄
The Volcano is a monster machine at the very high end, price-wise, of vaporizers. A vaporizer is merely a device that uses a metal plate to heat a bit of cannabis to a level where one can breath in the fumes at a temperature below that of igniting it. Google the word "vaporizer" to see countless devices at a much lower price than that of the Volcano.
Hi Jezee, I've been taking g CBD/THC Gummies for a week now. The only change I see is that when I wake up every hour with RLS, I feel so groggy, loopy and dizzy, that I need to hold on to walls and doors as I walk around in the middle of the night
