change of meds
Hi everybody, I have had to get some different painkillers for my RA as the mtx, ibuprofen, amitriptyline, co-codamol, and hydroxychloraquin were not working so I am weaning off the amitriptyline, and started on Pregbalin. I have just had the best nights sleep for months, as I have never been able to

Has anyone given themselves a break from warfarin? I have been on it for 2 years with no issues but am now suffering from pains in the legs. I am a rambler but have had to give up walking and my doctor just told me to take co-codamol. As I am also a bridge player I cannot cope with my brain being in

Morphine Management
Hello all. Have just re-started morphine -lowest dose - last night as have a very degenerated spine and last week had a fall (which - hopefully - has resulted in some internal bruising and will resolve) but necessarily needed the morphine in order to work. Have had poor reaction to all the pain meds

pains in hands and generally everywhere!
I have been diagnosed with pernicious anaemia, had loading doses then next jab 10 weeks later instead of 12 due to pains, doc did say could possibly have fibromyalgia too - think that's her explanation for these pains, been taking two co-codamol most days, today hurt lots including hands and lower right

Lumbar fusions
Hello all. Have had three lumbar fusions in five years. Now no more surgery as they did not last. The last obe in 2015 lasted 2 years. Now the pain is really bad. Morphine and Tramadol (allergic) bad reactions and don’t work. Been referred to a pain clinic. They could only suggest steroid injections

Hip and leg pain - help!
I'll start by giving a bit of a back story.... Since I can remember I've had pains in my legs and hips that mainly happens in the evening/ night time. I've had this pain every single night (also sometimes in the day) since I was a child and was told repeatedly by a doctor it was just "growing pains."

Pain relief and asthma
I have chostochrinditis . I can’t take ibuprofen because it affects my breathing, if co-codamol isn’t easing pain. What else can I take to ease my pain.

Sciatica and skin-patches
My UK GP has given me "Mezolar Matrix", a Fentanyl adhesive skin patch, 25 mcg/hour size, as the previously used Zomorph 30 mg ( 1 each 12 hours) was proving ineffective in combating the severe pain level. Any help anyone on any aspects of its use - is it usually effective ? I have never used skin
