I have been taking co-codamol 30/500 for many years for my back ,hip and hands pain which work well I am allowed 8 x a day sometimes I may need this amount but sometimes I dont take as many ,I have had times Iv been pain free for a good few days so I know I am not addicted but my doctor will only give me enough for 5 a day which worrys me as sometimes I need the full 8 to cope with pain ,I have mentioned it but still get the same amount ,does anyone know why they would say 8 x a day yet not let a person have enough ,I found that no other pain killer works as well as C.C. just wondered if anyone else has this problem of meds prescribed.
