Test monthly or three months? Different PSA results from different labs?
Two issues here that might be of interest or help to some, to tackle in the same post. I have always realized there may be variations from lab to lab, but assumed they would normally be quite small. But maybe not super-small, as I read this: "Using the same laboratory is essential, because not all labs

Tregs- regulatory T Cels this look interesting
Researchers have hypothesized that a particular type of white blood cell -- regulatory T cells, or Tregs -- may be inhibiting the ability of the immune system to recognize and thereby attack prostate cancer cells (as well as some other types of cancer cells). Tregs play an essential role in the immune

Swollen scrotum?
Has anyone had swollen scrotum.?? This started about 2 weeks ago, at same time he went off trial as new nodes found in clavicle area. Recent biopsy confirmed it is PCA!! The doctor has no idea what is reason for the swelling. Not painful but uncomfortable, ultra sound showed nothing. Also one ankle

10 Years With CLL: Two Trials & Lifesaving CAR T-Cell Therapy
I rarely cross post to Patient Power but today there is a story by a fellow CLL patient I have known for many years as DebinOz. She is one of the few I know of with a more aggressive form of CLL than mine. And I think she has more air miles than my 750,000 with United. Len - See: https://patientpower.info

UK (London) based Ballet and Parkinson's clinical trial
I've just signed up for this! For anyone in easy travelling distance to King's College Hospital or the English National Ballet, the trial is still recruiting. There will be 3 cohorts with differing symptom severity. I think I'm allowed to say this - just sharing what I'm doing! Never done ballet in

STARTING 4th CYCLE OF NX-2127 TRIAL
Here's an update from my newest clinical trial, Nurex-2127. This first phase is the dose finding part. I started on 300mg, the max amount at the time. Things started off well, but after three weeks, my anc dropped to 1.0, the study requires 1.5 or higher. I found myself off of the study until I got

Anyone on Balversa trial x prostate cancer?
My b.f. has been through chemo, radiation and all types of oral meds. Currently his tumors have multiplied and we are considering a Balversa clinical trial vs immunotherapy. Does anyone tried this med before? Thanks , would appreciate any feedback.
