I haven’t posted for some time as 2021 was a year of investigation and procedures. I am pregnant again after my 10th transfer with one baby. Still early days - currently 10 +4. I had to move from progynova to zumenon due to supply issue. I would love to hear how many zumenon per day you were on and when you stopped. I haven’t felt the best since I’ve started zumenon but could also be due to the pregnancy and want some advice on when you stopped yours once becoming pregnant. I’m currently on 4 tablets per day and worried it might be too much compared to progynova . Thank you ♥️

Zumenon and when did you stop
Congrats on your pregnancy! I've been on it since a couple of days before transfer (natural fet). I only ever used zumenon as progynova was already unavailable at the time, have been taking 2 x 2mg tablets daily. I'm also on cyclogest 400 x 3 daily. My clinic adviced to stop the zumenon on week 12,and phase out progesterone starting then, too. Curious to know if anyone else has different experiences..but the zumenon didn't make me feel too bad, if anything actually it slightly counters the effects of the progesterone (not my bff!!!
😒)
Hey lovely! Congratulations, what a flipping trooper you are!!💗 Zumenon is exactly the same as progynova. I actually took this for my last cycle. I was on 5 per day. Due to my crappy history I was weaned off rather than just stopping. After my 12wk scan (I was actually almost 13 wks) I dropped down from 5 per day to 3 per day for 7 days then down to 1 per day for 7 days then stop. Like I say I'm maybe not the best person to compare to btlut thought I'd give you an idea. Wishing you all the luck in the world.🤗🥰xxxx
So great to hear from you. I hope your boys are doing well. I refuse to give up and have to keep going as I feel I was too close to give up. Let’s hope this is my year. Thanks for sharing. I feel better about being on 4 a day as it felt a lot to me since I’ve started zumenon….I’ll stop worrying and just go with it. I did wean off progynova last time so will ask if I should do the same. My usual ivf consultant is not available so I’ve been panicking this time but this yours and Fr_traveller’s comments do reassure me a great deal. Take care xx
I'm so glad to see you battling on, you are some lady!!💪🏻 Your fight is loud and clear and you are right, so close! See what the consultant says, they may have a different approach. It's been a tricky time since the boys have arrived, they're doing great but my Mum was diagnosed with cancer for the second time (completely unrelated) and this time there was nothing they can do. She is still with us but only just so it's been a bit of a bittersweet time sadly!xxx
I’m so sorry to hear your mum is going through this and for a second time. Life can be so cruel. I hope she gets to spend as much time as she can with you all. Take care of yourself and your family. Sending you lots of love and hugs ❤️
Thanks Georgie, she been really poorly since July so haven't been able to see her much with the boys and has been on the hospice for months now. It's been tough but battling on for these little guys.xxx
Hi Georgie. I’m 10+4 too and am on 4x zumenon a day, as well as 4x Utrogestan progesterone pessaries. My clinic have said to stop both at the end of this week. But nervous about it if I’m honest but I’ll follow their advice and cross my fingers x
Congratulations Emma672. Thanks for sharing and I’m reassured to hear that you are also on zumenon. I’ll speak to my clinic as I’d love to stop some of my meds. I am on intramuscular injections and they hurt so much that I’d love to stop those. I agree that it’s worth following their advice. Thanks
Congratulations 🥳 I was told to stop all meds at 12 weeks but I weaned off them for a week as I was paranoid lol all was fine though 🤗 hope you feel better soon xx
Hi, i’m currently 11+4 and have been taking zumenon 3 times a day. I have been told to stop on 21st Jan along with the pessaries when i will be 13 weeks. Never had any side effects but will be nice when i no longer have to remember taking all these meds! Good luck with everything xx
Hi I was on zumenon and then moved onto progynova so the opposite to you. I was on 4 zumenon a day and they've said to take the same amount of progynova so I'm presuming they're the same doses etc. Im on it until 12 weeks (currently 8+4). I haven't had any negative side effects from zumenon so far (that I'm aware of!)
