Anti thyroid peroxidase >1000
Hi just wondering if there is a connection between lupus and autoimmune thyroid disease. Currently my thyroid levels are within normal range. A blood test in my showed tpo over 1000 and a positive ANA. At the moment I am at risk of developing autoimmune thyroid disease so to have 6 monthly thyroid checks

Hi All, I am new to this site. I am searching for information about an unusual issue that seems to flummox Endocrinologists I have seen. I am classically hypothyroid with lowering FT4 (10.6 and going down) and high TSH (14.0). My TPO is very positive. However, whenever I try and take levothryoxine I

Endo appointment
Hi all, I saw the endo today, very pleasant doctor. He has told me there is no problem because my blood tests were normal, and to be fair they do fall within the normal ranges. I asked if my TG antibodies, being significantly high, was a concern (this was a private test as not tested on NHS) he told

NP thyroid
Has anyone had any problems with NP thyroid lately? My wife was always taking 90 but then after she had a new batch her numbers for t3 double. Was her thyroid starting to work again after 7 years of being medicated? She had her hair falling out in clumps, with heart palpitations, and very nervous

Advice please!
I’m currently on Rifampin and Clindamycin, but I have given up drinking until I’ve finished these antibiotics, but I’ve had all the tests and everything for HS, but I’m really wanting a drink (alcoholic) so I join in with my friends, as far as I’m aware my kidneys and liver is fine.. and I only have

Huge improvement with self treatment with T3...but
So what seems to the usual path of feeling awful (fatigue, brain fog, no oomph) and trying to get a GP to do extra tests because TSH is "normal" led me in 2015 to get my blood work done privately. I should add that I had been diagnosed as hypothyroid as far back as 1996. My private results: Total Thyroxine

TPO levels "significantly elevated" >1300, what does this mean?
Hey everyone, I'm new here, and only being 21 years old this whole ordeal has been rather overwhelming. To include a backstory: A few weeks ago I went to the hospital to get some allergy tests done, and was later diagnosed with Oral Allergy Syndrome. The specialist said she was going to do some blood
