Taking me off medications

Guys..as you may know i developed hypo hashimoto in this pregnancy. I m 10 weeks post partum and my results from today are:

Tsh 0.004

T3 10.6

T4 32.6

Ant tpo 743

Tg 16

My gp is taking me off medications for 3 weeks to see how will i do. I was in 75 eltroxin . But im clearly hashimoto. Im so confused. I do feel tired, since birth i had irregular long periods and spotting, clearly because of thyroid. Any advice?

I'm afraid we need the ranges to be able to interpret those results. Ranges vary from lab to lab, so we need yours. But, even without the ranges it looks like you have just has a Hashi's 'hyper' swing. Doubtless, your doctor knows nothing about Hashi's and believes you have now 'gone hyper'. lol

Whist coming off the Eltroxin is the best thing to do in the immediate - you obviously have enough hormone in the blood at the moment - I think 3 weeks is too long. The levels will come down by themselves, but when is unpredictable. So, if you start feeling more symptomatic, don't hesitate to go back to your doctor for a retest. And try and educate him a little bit on your disease!

I know that he doesnt know much thats why i asked here. I have another blood test in the 28th.
