I’m currently on Rifampin and Clindamycin, but I have given up drinking until I’ve finished these antibiotics, but I’ve had all the tests and everything for HS, but I’m really wanting a drink (alcoholic) so I join in with my friends, as far as I’m aware my kidneys and liver is fine.. and I only have a month left on these antibiotics.... would I be ok to at least have a shandy.....?

Antibiotics are contraindicated with alcohol. I shouldn't if I was you. The two don't mix. Sorry for the bad news.

I am on these medications too. The clindamycin is fine. If I’m having a drink I don’t take the rifampin for a few days before. I find it makes me really sick during and the next day. You can’t stop living life because of these horrible things!
