CKD 2 at 27 Guidance needed
Some say
ckd
doesn't always progress and others say it is inevitable. What has been everyone's experience? 2. How possible is remission at my age? Has anyone been diagnosed young and still living past their 60s? 3.

Enzymes with ckd
I read somewhere that taking enzymes like Wobenzym can be bad for kidney disease. I had been taking one a day for several years and was wondering if you think this is true. I always thought that systemic enzymes helped clean the blood. What do you think?

Salt can increase risk of blood pressure-terrible for
CKD
. Sugar can increase risk of diabetes, terrible for
CKD
. And uric acid, and this one is new for me, which is found in organ meats, beer, red meat, shellfish , colas, and more, are not good for low stage

stage 3
My daughter was diagnosed with
CKD
in September. At that time she was stage 2. We just got more testing and she is now stage 3 (almost stage 3B). I hear stage 3 is when medication starts. Is there any advice you have to share that can help when we see the doctor later this week ?

Will reducing Allopurinol dosage help my CKD?
Hi guys, I have
CKD
and take 300 mg of allopurinol daily due to recurrent gout over the past 30 years. I'm interested in hearing from others who have been in a similar situation. Has anyone noticed any improvement in their kidney function after reducing their allopurinol dosage?

was just told I have ckd
Hey Everyone, I am 54 years old, my doctor just told me I have early stage
ckd
. She said it’s stable. My gfr was 55, but it was like 52 back in 2019.. I just want to learn all I can. Is it possible that it was 55 bc I didn’t drink anything for maybe 8 or 9 hours for my lab work?
