oh and forgot to mention because of short bowel I can't have green veg, fruit and veg skins or seeds basically anything that could make my output more or cause a blockage in my bowel.

from a CKD perspective, unless your blood test results reveal issues with high potassium, phosphate there aren’t any dietary restrictions, at your stage, that only happens if you are in end stage renal failure, Even then it’s still all about your blood test results, animal protein such as meat and fish and dairy products can still be consumed but in much smaller quantities, salt intake should be reduced but not by that much, still within the normal guidelines for average human consumption which is about a teaspoon per day. All vegetables that you can manage with your other medical conditions can be consumed, it’s more about avoiding ultra processed foods and fast foods that put extra strain on your kidneys. Drinking water is recommended but again not excessive amount's,which again is in the normal range of the average person, just enough to prevent you becoming dehydrated.

Know the feeling SoFedUp2023. Its very hard to keep to suggested diets when you have more than one illness. Even fluid advice seems to vary in Kidney patients according to who advises you. I would say try to eat a well balanced diet within the limits of your health restrictions. Keep a diary of what you do eat in a month and note the ones that cause you issues so you can avoid them but also tell the medics after all they only learn from patient experience. I find most foods in smaller amounts seem to be tollerated by our bodies to spite illness. Only you can decide what is tolerable to your body i believe in the theory little and often, which gives your body time to digest slowly. I have no gallbladder so some things cause problems , plus an illness that causes raised uric acids which has a special diet but I manage with avoidence of most trigger foods or smaller amounts. I even have problems with drugs. You need to find what your body can tolerate without adverse reaction. Things that cause severe reaction need to be avoided , as in foods that might cause a blockage, Best wishes
