Recommended Tracking App - Easy to use, tracks what I need to monitor for CKD
As my
CKD
disease progresses I will need some of the paid features, such as customizing my Macronutrient Targets. After I meet with my doctor I will find out what my target values should be.

Just saw man on YouTube talking about Lee Hull (author)?
(Glen) says he's improved/eliminated his diabetes type 2; improved
ckd
stage 4 to stage 3 with PB diet, supplemental protein (Albutrix) and exercise. Says author Lee Hull has a book for sale on Amazon. Also has recipes. Any feedback about this book/recipes or Albutrix?

amount of protein allowed daily?
I am 14st 7lbs and have stage 3a
CKD
. I was working out how much protein I should have daily and I believe it is 1.6 oz. Seems so little but if that’s what I need to do, we’ll so be it. Is that the right amount?

Post Nephrectomy Diet, CKD, diet, supplements
Hello, I had a Radical Nephrectomy in December 2021; I had been having digestive issues for some time (1-2 years prior to diagnosis; really, most of my life), and misdiagnosed I assume numerous times as Western medicine said "nothing wrong," you just need to get yourself on a LOW-Fod diet, nothing

Fatigue and lethargy
I’m stage 4
ckd
, and I am experiencing fatigue and lethargy on a daily basis. I find that I have very little energy, and I can barely accomplish anything beyond a couple of small tasks. I also have stage 3 non-alcoholic liver disease, and had open heart surgery in 2019.

Low BP preventing transplantation
In November 2022 he progressed to Stage 5
CKD
and had to start dialysis. He has low BP and is medicated to keep it up. The transplant team reviewed his case and said they cannot transplant him until his blood pressure is "normal" without medication.

Just got my diagnosis 3aCKD
Does anyone have a good reference book on diets for
CKD
? Thanks. I feel scared and lost right now and have so many questions. Seems like one month ago I was completely healthy-or at least I thought I was. Thank you.

the Flu and CKD
Hello, I have stage 4
ckd
. Last GFR was 29 so actually right on the border of 3/4. I have the flu and I have noticed ever since being sick my urine is very bubbly. This happened when I had Covid last year but then it went back to normal.

Struggling to put on weight
I have persistent AF, heart failure and
CKD
stage 3a. Whenever I ask my doctor why I cannot put on weight he keeps saying that people struggling from these diseases have the same problem. But I don’t believe this as the posts on this site show just the opposite.

Trying to give docs the benefit of the doubt….
Like me, so many of us with
CKD
3 weren’t told of their
CKD
, the diagnosis was minimized, or counseling/resources/treatment strategies weren’t provided. Why is this such a frequent occurrence?
