Antibody results just said “yes,” not level
Last week I had an antibody test at my dermatologist’s (who has a vested interest in CLL) to see if my January and February Moderna jab produced antibodies. My impression was that this blood test would be “quantitative” rather than “qualitative,” meaning that it would at least give a general idea of

When did you get the infamous 3+ weeks on Clear Blue?
Hi ladies, As some of you who rallied around my super faint line at 5dp5dt a couple of weeks ago may remember, I've been testing positive since then with encouraging hcg levels (150 at 10dp5dt and 500 on 12dp5dt). But that was now almost a week ago and I've since moved to the other side of the world,

Drugs....
I got some tablets whilst on holiday (that’s when this all started) they were called alprazolam - they were amazing, but unfortunately the uk doctors won’t prescribe them, as apparently they’re too addictive! I can see why! Anyway, I’m now on mirtazapine & propranolol. The propranolol (beta blockers

Positive test but low hcg
Hi all I resisted the urge to do a HPT until today (9dp5dFET). I was a little bit excited this morning when I got a faint, but definitely positive and called my clinic who asked me to come in for a blood test. Just got the results and they say the HCG level is lower than they’d have expected (16 ☹️)

Should you be minimizing your consumption of lipids?
I had my worst blood test on April 15 followed three weeks later (on May 5) by my best blood test in 15 months. The main difference was that my April 15 blood test came after I had been eating lots of fatty foods during the week of Passover. My good test three weeks later came after I cut my fat and

Unrelated But: Nausea with Smells
I get motion sick easily. Sometimes after brushing my teeth or showering, the smell of the product makes me feel so nauseated, like I am in the car & I got car sick. It can last up to a few days, and I have to avoid anything too pungent. But I can also have fleeting nausea moments with smells. This seems

Statins with ckd4?
I've been advised to take 20mg of statins but I am worried about the effect on my kidneys (CKD 4). Has anyone taken them? I know that my renal team wouldn't let me have them if I was in any danger and I understand that I am more at risk for heart failure or attack but would like your experiences with

Should FISH test be repeated?
Does anyone know if the FISH test is repeated for people with stage zero CLL? I had the test when I was first diagnosed in December 2017, and assume it hasn’t been repeated because my office exam with my hematologist this month didn’t reveal swollen lymph nodes or enlarged spleen.

Suggestions where to find CBC pre-made spreadsheets
I apologize up-front to ask the subject question as this topic previously had great responses. Then trying to find those references buried in posts was ... well a challenge I admit I failed at. So taking the easier route thought I’d ask question in a post. New in the CLL “adventure” and so I’m gonna

Migraine/IBS link?
Does anyone else experience a worsening of IBS when their Migraine headaches are in a better phase? All my life it seems that I either have one or the other in a bad state. I would rather be in an IBS phase than a migraine phase, but either is very disabling! Lately I have started on Flunarazine ( a

Positive test low HCG
I took a test 12dp5dt and had a faint positive pregnancy test. Had my bloods done at 13dp5dt and my Hcg was 177. My clinic said its a bit low and they needed to speak to my doctor. They have now said to repeat bloods 4 days later. I feel ungrateful and that I should be happy that I got a positive test
