Got the "stomach flu" --not influenza but perhaps norovirus or food poisoning Tues..and was nonstop vomitting from 3 am - 10 am every 10 min with all the "extras" and finally told family I needed to go to the hospital....where

Red swollen eyes - linked to underactive thyroid?
Hi all! I was diagnosed six weeks ago with an underactive thyroid and my levels are now normal sitting at 1.3. Six weeks ago it was 8.99. But for two months now I’ve had an on going problem with my eyes, they go red and puffy and swollen and dry underneath, just the skin, not the eye itself. The doctor

ACTH numbers?
I would like to know what the collective levels of ACTH are . When I first started seeing my endocrinologist my numbers were 103,193,196. This when I started my daily hydrocortisone regimen . I take 20mg right when I rise and then 10mg @ 1. The lowest I was able to get my ACTH was 28 once. Now I am

Depletions of Vitamins and Minerals by Medication
Can anyone point me in the right direction of depletion of Vitamins and minerals by medication. I think there was some government guidance on giving B12 and Vitamins D3, but don't know where to look. My special needs son is low in a few vitamins and I have been supplementing, but this would be better

HHD and the Candida connection

Puffy lip

Saliva Test Results - Potentially Low Cortisol?
All, I wonder what you would say about these saliva cortisol results? My AM cortisol looks ok, but then it goes downhill after that and each result is borderline low. Would you treat this with hydrocortisone? I plan to ask my holistic doctor on Tuesday but was curious as to your responses. Thank

Test for aziathioprine levels
I’ve had Chung Strauss for about 5 years now and for most of that time I’ve been on aziathioprine. I did flare around three years ago and my consultant thought it was because I lowered my dose of aziathioprine and steroids too quickly. I’ve been steroid free for at least nine months now and I take low

Secondary Addison’s
I wrote a post a couple of months regarding cortisone levels. I now understand what is going on. I have secondary Addison’s disease, I am now depending on hydrocortisone daily. 20mg is my daily dose but this needs adjusting if I’m ill, sick, stress etc. Since being diagnosed I’ve had one adrenal crisis

What is this rash?
I have had eczema all my life, but for 4 months I've had these rashes new rashes. They itch especially at night and when left dry throughout the day. They leak a transparent clear fluid. No cream has helped, not even hydrocortisone. What does this look like? I'm obviously going to visit the doctor soon

Hello, please can someone message me where i can buy hydrocortisone tablets online. My usual supplier is out of stock. I am under the care of a private GP, he gives me a prescription but it's too expensive to buy it this way.
