Cough at night
Had done a
chest
X
ray
a year ago : they found the tiniest nodule ( they actually wrote on report : maybe vascular ?) because it was so small. I was actually coughing before x ray so was a bit relieved that they found « nothing » Now joint pain started end of May. Still dry coughing at night.

Decisions, decisions ?
A recent
chest
X

revealed inflammation in my lungs. So, today I have been doing some reading about biologics, particularly side effects and I read a bit about Methotrexate, which I have been on for some time, side effects !! Can cause inflammation in the lungs !!

Attended yesterday, lung function is good but gas exchange is borderline so following on from

Fat ankles!
I saw gp today who thinks it's linked to my diabetes( pred causing raised sugar levels) and ordered bloods to check kidney function, ecg and
chest
x
ray
and other tests. Thought I was doing well reducing pred and feeling able to be a bit more active. C'est la vie!

It's not always bad news!
I had a
chest
X
-
ray
in January this year and was told I had ring shadows that could represent bronchiectasis and also there were changes in my emphysema, waited four months for a ct scan, then another two weeks for the results, luckily my ring shadows was nothing and they had disappeared 😀 I'm so pleased

Feel so lonely
Around 13 years ago, following my very first
chest
x
-
ray
, it was discovered that I have a hypoplastic right lung with pulmonary atresia. This very rare condition means that I basically only breathe with my left lung, which has grown to become sufficient enough for my needs.

Inflammation in the lungs ?
And a
chest
X
-
ray
has revealed inflammation in my lungs ? I presume it is the same inflammation as has been in my joints over past weeks. My Rheumatology doctor is on holiday at the moment and the clinical nurse has said that he will explain everything when he comes back.
