Following on from having a chest x-ray last week I'm booked in for a CT scan of my chest and abdomen which includes me being injected with contrast dye. I have received a letter from the hospital explaining the procedure and also mentioning that two hours before hand I should drink a litre of water. What I'd like to know is should I use my inhalers prior to the scan or not.

Hi NicYou should be able to use your inhaler. Your appointment letter will list a number to ring if you have any questions I suggest you give them a ring. I have always found them very helpful.

Andy
